Please note - We are unable to accept bookings for stag | bachelor, hen parties as well as for music festival events, without exception.

The apartment is on the ground floor of the small Ponta Grande Carvoeiro complex. It consists of 17 apartments with mature gardens situated in a tranquil location on a private condominium providing a safe environment for the whole family.
The apartment also benefits from having free Wi-Fi and Cable TV, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, a fully equipped kitchen and lounge, and a dining area.
There is off-street parking and an outdoor shared swimming pool with a separate kids section

It is situated in Sesmarias which is very close to Lagoa, Carvoeiro, and Ferragudo. With several beaches nearby with the closest being Praia dos Caneiros less than 5 mins away. The area has a selection of good quality restaurants and parades of shops.
It is conveniently situated very close to the motorway making it easy to reach any destination.

The closest restaurant is just 3 minute walk from the apartment but in Carvoeiro and Ferragudo you have a selection of good quality restaurants. If you prefer fine dining, try one of the few Michelin-star Restaurants in the Algarve in Sesmarias just a few minutes walk from the apartment.
There is an ATM, Mini market, and coffee shop just a 3-minute walk from the apartment.

It is deal for family holidays or golfing, it is close to several beaches and all amenities. There are several golf courses to choose from all at your doorstep with Pestana Gramacho Golfe and Vale da Pinta less than 5 mins away.

Short Break
The property was in excellent condition and the quiet location suited us admirably. The grounds were well kept and the pools, albeit rather cold at this time of the year were superb. The only thing which we thought may help guests would be to include in your A to Z guest information pack is where to find the outdoor rubbish and recycling bins, the location of which is by no means obvious.

Lovely apartment for families
We had a wonderful stay at Ponta Grande. The apartment was nice and clean and well laid out, with plenty of space for a family of 4. It's a great base for exploring towns and attractions in the area, but is only a short Uber ride from Carvoeiro if you want to leave the car behind and enjoy the local restaurants. Communication with the owner was excellent, he gave us recommendations on places to eat and visit, and responded promptly when we did have questions. Overall very much recommended and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Lovely Apartment!! we have an excellent stay and very near to some beautiful beaches.
The apartment was extremely clean, it had a fully equipped kitchen, which was good as we cooked sometimes in the apartment. There was a cool bag and picnic plates and cups and ice blocks in the freezer which was ideal for taking picnics to the beaches. Lovely comfy lounge area and good programs tv options, sports and English tv and movies for the evening. The bedroom areas had plenty of storage and very cool at night. The bathroom was very modern and amazing rain drop shower head. The owner had left a very informative folder on how to use the TV and local restaurant's to visit and information in case of emergencies. The pool area was maintained daily and it was nice to be near the pool and take a dip when you liked. Just up the road from the apartment was a super restaurant "Luisa" and we ate their a few times and the little supermarket had a good range of essentials and plenty of bottled water and very friendly. We really did have a lovely holiday and was a excellent base to visit some stunning beaches, we did paddle boarding twice, snorkelling, walks on the boardwalk in carvoeiro and 8mins drive to slide and splash. Big thank you to Artur !!

Estadia espetacular
Casa tal como mostra nas fotos, limpa e asseada, com espaço suficiente para a estadia que tivemos. Casa muito bem organizada e espaçosa. A cozinha tem tudo o que é necessário. Os quartos são bons assim como as camas são muito confortáveis. Os espaços exteriores estão muito bem cuidados, com vistas sobre Ferragudo e Portimão, jardins bem cuidados e piscinas muito bem conseguidas (3 piscinas em formato cascata). Relativamente ao anfitrião, simpático, bastante prestável, atencioso e sempre atento para saber se estava tudo bem. Recomendo este alojamento por tudo o que referi e também por se encontrar perto de praias maravilhosas.

We chose this property due to its location being ideal if you are looking for a safe quiet environment to enjoy your holiday. With panoramic views of the countryside yet close to local amenities and beaches.
If you are a golfer, then you will be spoilt for choice with several golf courses nearby.

Carvoeiro Town and Village of Ferragudo is only 5 mins by car. You will find that Carvoeiro has a huge number of restaurants, bars, cafés, and takeaways offering all types of cuisine so whether you want a snack at lunchtime or a nice relaxing dinner after a hard day on the beach, you won't have to look far to find somewhere.

What makes this property unique

The apartment is set in tranquil gardens with views of the Monchique Mountains in the distance.
Away from the hustle and bustle of the major resorts but yet within a short drive to restaurants and bars in Carvoeiro.
