Cabin was great !

  • 4 of 5

A little difficult to regulate temperature . Master bedroom was cold and the upstairs loft was very hot . Had everything you needed ! Away from the hustle and bustle of the town . Def need a 4 wheel drive to get up the hill in the snow .

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. and for coming and staying with us. We love this cabin and being able to offer it to others for them to enjoy as well. And yes, the upstairs is the loft area, when the fireplace goes full force for a long time, HEAT does rise. So keep the fireplace on for shorter periods and this will take care of all heating issues. This cabin is up on a mountain top and does offer one of the slightest inclines to climb. There is not a mountain road when ice is present that does not give you a fit to climb. This is a county road and does get attention by the road services but like other mountain roads they are 2nd in priority to the salt trucks. Again, thank you in coming and staying with us. Please keep our number handy for your next visit. thanks ann

Cabin needs TLC

  • 1 of 5

The is not a LUXURY cabin as advertised and needs to be updated. I hate to do this but this cabin was very disappointing. As soon as you walk in you can smell a musty odor, and the windows/plexiglass are dirty. The downstairs bathroom with the shower has mold in the ceiling due to no ventilation, tried to open the window but no screen. The carpet needs to be replaced or removed, I did not want to even walk on it with bare feet. The view was not as advertised, could not see the mountains due to the trees in the way. The first night heard scratching in the roof/ceiling and found out a squirrel was living up there. Please spend some well needed money on this place, it has potential and would not take much to be a very nice cozy cabin.

Cozy cabin in the woods

  • 4 of 5

Just returned from this cabin and had a wonderful time! Honestly, we were not all that impressed upon first sight. The cabin seemed to need some updates, and the living room seemed cramped. However, we found that we spent lots of family time in that cozy living room or on the gorgeous deck each evening, and we may not have done that if there had been a flat screen in every room! There's a little nature path just steps from this cabin, and only 4 cabins located on this drive, so the privacy, seclusion, view, and quiet were just what we were looking for. The kids said the loft mattresses were comfortable, but it might be time to replace the king downstairs. Overall, we found this rustic little cabin to be everything we needed for a quick family getaway and the price was very reasonable.

Sec!uded Get Away

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed at this cabin for 5 nights. It was just what we were looking for. Quiet and cozy! It was a bit of a drive from town but we got use to it. Loved the hot tub. We went for the tub and the view anyway. The view was a little blocked by some trees but still a beautiful sunrise. The only thing i thought it could use was more comfortable couches. The Windows I believe were plexiglass and hard to see through, but we weren't there to stay inside. All in all it was a great vacation.

A Perfectly Quaint Getaway

  • 5 of 5

This Tennessee cabin was a perfect location for a secluded, relaxing getaway. Situated after an abundance of winding roads, within the depths of wilderness, and away from civilization, this small cabin acted as a wonderful relief from the busy, bustling life down below. The soothing hot tub worked excellently, and the pool table was a fun addition to the cabin experience. Although the cabin was not in unbearably far from towns like Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, it still took about 10-15 to reach civilization. Everything in the profile description was accurate, as 2-6 people could surely reside comfortably in this cabin for a quaint vacation. There is little internet connection and service available within the mountains, but it was very nice to disconnect from technology for a short time. Overall, my group and I were pleased with the views, the quiet, and memories made through this cabin.
