About this property

newly renovated home

Two bedrooms with 1 queen & 1 double bed, full kitchen, television and gas fireplace, original maple hardwood floors in living room and 1 bedroom, Cork floors in kitchen and master bedroom. Ceramic tiled entry and bathroom, walk in shower and separate claw foot tub on lower level. Walk out basement with direct access to trail system. Newly landscaped with large lawn area. Home was completely gutted with brand new electrical, plumbing & heating systems installed. Spray foam insulation was added to be energy efficient and eliminate outside noise. We added central air-conditioning, in time for summer heat waves. We are connected to WI FI.

Note: After the spring flooding on nearby ATV and snowmobile trails, we are happy to let you know that the trails have reopened in Finland and all the way toward Ely. Work is still being done on trails around Silver Bay. 😌😊

Lovely little cottage

Very impressed with the SiSu house well equipped and very clean
This home is very cute and comfortable, excellently equipped kitchen with lots of natural light all the windows well decorated . Soft paint colours, large washroom with clawfoot tub and walk in shower . The front entrance is very charming. We love the layout of this home. The fire pit was a great accessory to sit around at night with a glass of wine. The owners Diane and Eric are very accommodating . Two thumbs up! Larry R

Record February Stay
Another wonderful, short vacation...even without be able to snowmobile, we had a fabulous time at the Sisu house. Very relaxing, excellent accommodations, hosts and great company. Enjoyed relaxing indoors, playing games, working on puzzles and watching movies, as well as many nature hikes. Will be back again and again!

Winter weekend in north shore
We loved our stay. This is 3rd or 5 th time we stayed here and hope to come back year after year. The cabin is spotlessly clean, kitchen is fully supplied with utensils/ pots and pans. The fireplace is wonderful. Beds are comfortable. We love snowshoeing right from the back door and found a new xc ski trail 15 minutes away!
