A stunning romantic 30 hectares park surrounds the historical Bouchet Castle. Recently restored, the 300 m2 East Wing of the castle is totally independent and settled to accommodate up to fifteen people (depending on the option). You will live in a peaceful, comfortable and refined dwelling. It includes bedrooms with antique furniture, shower rooms, private bathrooms, lounges with period panelling and staircase dating back from the Renaissance. It is equipped with a private heated pool and garden furniture. It offers a true atmosphere of a family house and lot of space. On the ground floor are a large living area with fireplace, small lounge, an equipped kitchen and entrance. On the 1st floor, you will find four bedrooms + private sanitary. On the second floor are two parental suites.

Fantastic days at the castle
We were 6 couples staying at the château as we visited various châteaux and wineries in the Loire Valley. We had a very good time. There was plenty of room for all of us. We arrived on a Saturday night and it's good to know that grocery stores and restaurants are closed on Sundays. Then we were helped by our fantastic hostess Sophie, who offered us food from her own fridge. The castle is surrounded by a large and beautiful park with trees from all corners of the world. We can warmly recommend the castle!

A Faultless Stay
We have experienced a wonderful holiday in spite of the best attempts of the French weather to put a dampener on it. The property was perfect for our family of three generations. Spacious living areas, independent sleeping areas and outside eating table and chairs. There were large numbers of bikes (to suit all ages and sizes), balls, ride on toys and even a trampoline. Sophie, the owner, was always available but never intruded, the perfect host. This is a property I would unhesitatingly recommend.

Magnificent historical home in idyllic surroundings.
Our family gathering of 14 ranging from 3 years to 70+ had a wonderful week in the Chateau. Lots to do and peace and quiet if needed. Visits to a winery, Angers market and Saumur were all included. We used the pool daily despite filtering problems.

Amazing stay at wonderful castle property in Loire Valley
The castle is amazing, the grounds are extensive and Sophie, the owner and manager of the property super friendly and helpful. We spent 5 days in property to explore the Loire Valley. Property is conveniently located to visit all main attractions in the area. The swimming pool is great and the wing of the castle available to guests magnificent! Highly recommend property and owner to future guests!

Perfect experience
We had an absolutely perfect stay at the Château du Bouchet. Eight family members, spanning three generations, spent a week in late May at this beautiful spot. The Château and grounds are exactly as described. Host Sophie was wonderful, available to answer questions about the area and the history of the building. Most days we would take an excursion into the Loire Valley and then return to experience the peace and beauty of the château setting. We ate most meals outside and took advantage of the many bikes available to explore the property. This was a superb VRBO experience that we cannot wait to visit again.
