The ''Traditional house Kefala is built in 1860 and refurbished in 2004 fully equipped . Built of the hill ''Kefala'' Have panoramic views to the ''White mountains'' The house is built of stone and wood and for this reason has ideal temperatures in summer and winter . Traditional house Kefala 1860 has a valid license authorized by the National Organization for Tourism. It is ideal for families, or groups of friends, who desire a large and aesthetically pleasing traditional house , for a private and pleasurable holiday. Up to 8 individuals can be accommodated comfortably. What makes Traditional House Kefala unique, is the ability to breath mountain air, combined with wonderful views over the area, mountains and green foliage decrepit tree carob . The closeness and direct access to the historical town of Rethymno, with its long sandy beaches and vibrant night life, will ensure a holiday that you will never forget
The decor is simple and functional, with old hand painted furniture and useful objects of the past ... There are three bedrooms and a attik that can accommodate six people, and the sofa in the main part of the house, consisting of two separate single beds And one more sofa -single bed in the living room too...In thn old fireplace side is one more bed (cave bedroom) ... the kitchen is fully equipped (refrigerator,Microwave, freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, mixer, electric kitchen), and generally the house is fully equipped (electric iron, -3D WiFi T.V.- hair dryer,- wireless Internet,- garden sun loungers- 2 bathrooms,- linen) for comfortable and dignified holidays up eight people. We can offer baby items when needed. Access to the
house can be made from two different sides of the village...One entrance is the quiet traditional district of the village and the other from the large central square .On the one hand there is covered parking and a yard with high walls flowers and Cretan herbs.On the other

Arrive to the island of Crete is possible by boat, from the port of Pireus to the ports of Chania and Heraklion. You can also come by plane, via the airports of the towns Heraclion and Chania. We recommend you bring your own vehicle, or rent one in Crete.
From airport Chania
You leave the airport of Chania direction Souda. You have to drive through Souda and after Souda you have to go to the “New National Road” direction Rethymno. You stay on the “New National Road” for about 50 kilometers till you will see the sign of Rethymno. You have to leave the “New National Road” at the first exit to the right direction Atsipopoulo. After the passing of the villages Atsipopoulo and Prines you come to the village of Gonia. From airport Heraklion
You leave the airport of Heraklion at the second exit to the right direction “New National Road” Heraklion / Rethymno. You stay on the “New National Road” for about 75 kilometers till you will see the sign of Rethymno. You have to pass by Rethymno on the “New National Road” till you will see the sign for the exit Rethymno / Atsipopoulo. You take this exit to the right and you drive straight to the big crossing. At this crossing you turn left direction Atsipopoulo. After the passing of the villages Atsipopoulo and Prines you come to the village of Gonia.

Sehr schöne Lage sehr freundliche Gastgeberin und ruhig
Gonia ist mit dem Auto von Rethimnon ca. 15 Minuten entfernt. Die Lage war sehr gut für Ausflüge. Es war auch sehr idyllisch und man war fern ab vom Tourismustrubel. In den umliegenden Dörfern gibt es kleinere Geschäfte, wo man einheimische Produkte kaufen kann. Das Haus hatte eine schöne Terrasse und genügend Schlafmöglichkeiten. Die Küche hatte alles was man zum Herstellen von Speisen benötigt. Sehr gut war der große Kühlschrank, die Klimaanlage und die Waschmaschine. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit bei Fragen. Wir bedanken uns für die schöne Zeit.
