Needs some attention!
The location is very nice and the property sits on a lovely 12 acres. If you are looking for a quite place to go it is perfect. However, The layout of the house is very odd. You have to go up a spiral staircase to unload all of your luggage unless you walk all the way around the house and up a long set of stairs. If you have elderly people than it is not a convenient way to get into the house. The house is very dark. inside. There is very little lighting at the house at night. (needs lamps)It is OK in the daytime because of the natural light coming thru the windows. The kitchen is very dark. There was under cabinet lighting but it did not work. The bulbs were missing. The few lamps that was in the house was missing light bulbs. There was no information in the house to explain the satellite TV., the heating system, or anything. Most houses that we have rented had an instruction book. The house seemed neglected. It was not as clean as it should have been during a pandemic. All of the doors and window had finger prints. When we wiped down the surfaces for extra precaution all of our cloths were black. The basement needed sweeping. We felt like we needed to clean before we brought our stuff in the house. We had a nice weekend because the weather was wonderful and we could stay outside.
