3-bedroom, 2-bath Detached Home With Deck Overlooking A City Park.

A cottage-style farmhouse, it includes a family-friendly open floor plan with a fully equipped kitchen, breakfast bar, dining area, and living room with a twin sleeper. The first floor includes two bedrooms, one with two twin beds and one with a queen bed. The queen bedroom has a patio door that opens onto the deck overlooking the nature park, bike path and playground. Not traveling with a bike? We have a stable of easy-to-ride bikes to choose from. The home has high speed internet, cable television, and off-street parking. A washer and dryer are located in the utility room off the full kitchen. There is a gas barbecue with serving area, utensils, and rolling cooler you can also use for day trips.

The second floor includes a bedroom with a California-king bed, separate sitting area with twin sleeper, full bath, kitchenette, executive desk, and private deck.

In the middle of Oregon horse country and on the edge of Oregon wine country, Wilsonville is within 30 minutes of the Woodburn Outlet Mall, Downtown Portland, the Oregon Zoo, Portland International Airport, the state capitol in Salem, and the Columbia River gorge. Within an hour you can be at Mt. Hood or in just a little longer, on the Oregon coast. Within 2 miles, you can walk, bike, or drive to numerous restaurants and bars from coffee bistros and fast food to sports bars, breweries and fine dining. Pharmacies, groceries, department stores, Frys Electronics, the Family Fun Center, and many more retail shops are also available in Wilsonville. World of Speed is now open in Wilsonville for racing fans to enjoy.

If you are traveling for genealogy or history, we are very knowledgeable about our pioneer cemeteries, museums, and heritage attractions. The Aurora Colony is located just 5 miles away with many antique shops and museums. One of the most recent trees to gain status as an Oregon State Heritage Tree, the R.V. Short Fir, stands just outside this farmhouse.

About Pat & Susan Harrison and Charlotte Lehan

Susan and Charlotte grew up in the other house on the property. Susan and her husband, Pat, live there with Charlotte. The three of us took on the challenge of moving this little house in order to save it from demolition. In the process we have learned a great deal about architectural restoration and we love to talk DIY with anyone who is interested! Talk about an adventure in moving!

Why Pat & Susan Harrison and Charlotte Lehan chose Wilsonville

This little farm house, originally located in what is now Villebois, was slated for demolition when we decided to move it 1.5 miles to sit next to its sister house, of similar vintage and style that Susan and Charlotte grew up in. It is an example of the best of 1941 craftsmanship in a modest farm home. In the process of moving it we made the updates necessary to offer all the amenities and technology that any discerning business traveler has come to expect.

What makes this cottage unique

If you have an interest in architectural history or renovation we are sure you will enjoy this property, but even if you do not know a salt box from a log cabin, you will enjoy the privacy, comfort, amenities, location, and access this property has to offer.

Fantastic home

We absolutely loved our stay in Wilsonville. I have stayed in several HomeAway houses and this one was by far the best equipped home. They thought of pretty much everything including the little things like having outlet plugs in the lights next your bed, plenty of towels, blankets, toilet paper, Kleenex, garbage bags, etc. These things make it so much easier to show up and not have to worry about anything but food and enjoying your stay. We very much appreciated it and would recommend this cute home to anyone. Thank you to the home owners. We appreciate the hospitality.

Excellent experience!

We stay here once a year during our visit to the Portland area. We highly recommend this property! The rental is immaculately clean and the home is central to many fun things to do in Portland (30 minutes) and the Willamette Valley (15 minutes). The owners werre gracious hosts and were lightning fast with all questions and needs we had. We will never stay in a hotel again when visiting the Portland area!

A gorgeous place to stay with friendly owners.

The property is cozy and well appointed. The park is close and provides a great place for a walk. Everything you need for a couple of days or long term. With the upstairs this property makes for a great family get away spot.

A delightful stay.

This cottage was perfect for 2 couples and a baby. Everything was in pristine order, super clean and fully furnished. Great walking trails on the nature preserve right out the side door. Highly recommend.

Immaculate Home - Peaceful Setting - Beautiful Property!

This home is fully stocked with anything and everything you may need for your stay. We were beyond comfortable during our 3 night stay that we ended up extending for a 4th evening! The owners are on-site and available to assist with anything you may need including additional firewood, fresh eggs from the chicken coop, or a quick story about the history of the property. We have stayed at several VRBO's and this was by far the most well taken care of property and enjoyable stay. We would highly recommend this feel-like-home charming cottage and look forward to staying here again in the future. Thank you to the Harrison and Lehan family for your exceptional hospitality!

A lovely mixture of farmhouse charm and modern amenities

We stayed at this property for a family vacation and would gladly recommend it. The house was larger than expected and beautifully furnished, with multiple sitting areas on the various decks in the back (and upstairs), a spacious suite with a small kitchenette and office upstairs, and a small decorative pond in the back. With two dishwashers, laundry, wifi, flameless fireplaces, and modern heating and plumbing, the house offers old-time charm without sacrificing modern comforts. The owners were friendly and accommodating. The property is in a residential neighborhood, but it adjoins a park and nature trails.
