This single-story spacious family house with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms is perfect for a home away from home. Private Pool, patio, internet, cable, large screen HDTVs, DVD players, and pool table. Parking for 2 cars in the attached garage.

Avondale is 15 minutes west of downtown Phoenix. It is a central location for visiting many local tourist attractions. It is also a great launching point for trips to Las Vegas (4 hours), San Diego (5 hours), or Rocky Point Mexico (4 hours).

Camelback Ranch (spring training home of LA Dodgers and Chicago White Sox) 3 miles

Maryville Baseball park (spring training home of the Milwaukee Brewers) 8 miles

3rd month long stay!

Another great month at Duane’s house in Avondale! (Phoenix ) Speaking of which, Phoenix is quite large and spread out. Highway 10 is usually quite congested so you really need to pick your area and try not to travel across the city too much. We have found some great golf courses in our area and venture further afield once a week. The city has several good, inexpensive courses. We quite like Coldwater, which is only a 5-10 minute drive away. Aguila is a good course as well.. Cave Creek is ok, just consider the course not the cart paths. For a “treat”, we go to the two Verrado courses (Buckley) which are wonderful. Estrella golf course is also very good & “challenging.” There are numerous other good courses in

the west and northwest parts of the city. GolfNow is a great tool to find

“hot deals” & reasonable prices. The Reds and Indians spring training stadium are 10 minutes away where I enjoyed the season opener. The dome is also only10 minutes away for Coyote hockey and other events, as is the Cardinal stadium in season .

We found several new great restaurants this year...... Abuelas and The East Asian Bistro. Many of “the usual chains” are nearby as well. Once more, we made our annual pilgrimage to Rock Springs for homemade pie

and pickled beets ! Soooooooo good! I hiked several times at Estrella county park which is only 20 minutes away .

The house is in a quiet, safe subdivision ,close to both highways 10 & 101. The neighborhood is great for taking leisurely, long walks. The home is large, with wide hallways and big rooms which I like, and is always clean and well appointed. It is well equipped with TVs, cable, internet and a even a printer. (to print out those GolfNow Hot Deals😀?) The door locks with a code which is very convenient if several people are staying there . Duane

is very friendly, easily available, and very helpful !

Perfect Desert Oasis

We loved our experience! We were there for a baseball tournament. We didn't do well in the tournament but had the gorgeous house to come back to. Pool and in house activities kept our minds off the hot weather. Thank you Duane for accommodating us with a great house!

Outstanding Property

We had the privilege of staying here for a week at the beginning of April. We could not have been happier with our choice! The house has plenty of room and was super clean. The pool table and and swimming pool were great though it was a little chilly for a swim when we were there. Easy access to to I-10 and the 101 and it is close to shopping and restaurants. Had the opportunity to meet the owner Duane, and he was so nice and accommodating. This is an outstanding value compared to other similar properties and I would definitely stay here again. Five Stars!!!
