INSIDE THE HOUSE
The upper level features a spacious open floor plan combining the living, dining, and kitchen areas. A comfy oversized leather sofa and armchairs surround the gas fireplace and 55" flat screen TV. For those looking to entertain, there are plenty of games, videos and books to encourage group camaraderie! From the living space a deck with a new BBQ overlooks the Tahoe forest. The kitchen boasts granite countertops, stainless appliances, island cooktop range; thoughtful extras include a waffle maker, Cuisinart blender, and Keurig coffeemaker stocked with assorted K-cup coffee and hot chocolate. A convenient guest bathroom is located just off the living room.
The large master suite is also on the upper level, with a top-of-the-line king bed and 40" flat screen cable TV. This inviting space features vaulted ceilings and a luxurious bath with granite countertops, double vanity sink, walk-in shower, jetted spa tub, and a separate commode. The two guestrooms are located on the lower level of the house, one with a queen bed and 32" flat screen TV, and one with a rustic log bunk bed (queen/twin combo). A second living area downstairs offers a 40" TV with PlayStation as well as additional sleeping space on the queen sleeper sofa. The downstairs bath features custom tile and river rock inlays. Guests will want to settle in and enjoy all the homey mountain touches like down comforters, soft blankets and throws, and warm Tahoe décor.
This home is ideally located, just a few minutes from the base of Heavenly Valley and from the beaches on Lake Tahoe. Walk to nearby Bijou Community Park and Disk Golf Course, or mountain bike the popular Power Line trail. The house is just a short drive to Ski Run Marina, which offers boat and kayak rentals. In response to the City of South Lake Tahoe County's ordinance on short term rentals, we are operating under STVR License #007566. As per the ordinance, this vacation rental cannot be used for any type of parties, including weddings and receptions. Maximum allowable City occupancy is 10 people and 2 cars; over occupancy will be subject to City citation/fine. Please note that we have a strict NO PARTY policy; failure to comply will result in eviction.
