1st family vacation with kids and grandkids.
Disappointed about the musty smell. Turning AC on was worse, definitely something died in the ductwork. Sleeping quarters upstairs had no AC. Treacherous stairway!! Having to wash cookware before use is just creepy. Based on reviews thought it would have been nicer.

Happiness !
We absolutely loved our week at Tom's Cabin! The cabin is cozy and the screened in porch is a wonderful spot to unwind. Fishing off the dock, kids playing in tubes and rock hunting in the water, bonfires riverside....this location was perfect for all our favorite river activities!!

Perfect Winter Getaway
This was the perfect rustic getaway for our family. The location was a great hub for nordic ski activity at nearby state parks, Hanson Hills and XC Ski HQ. We could have stayed much longer. The cabin is cozy and inviting. Can only imagine how great it is in the summer too!

Cozy winter getaway
We enjoyed spending a few winter days up at Uncle Tom's Cabin. The location is beautiful, tucked away and right along the river. The cabin is old and rustic yet clean and charming. We enjoyed the fireplace and cozy living spaces. The kitchen is very basic but did the trick for our family of 4. The stairs leading to the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom are extremely steep and narrow. Overall the cabin is well maintained.
