Summer in Provence
The location is excellent - the town itself has great restaurants and a stream of events, but it is also a good base to explore the countryside, towns and coast in the region. There is so much to see and do - St Maxime, St Tropez and many many others. The house itself is very well appointed and comfortable, even for larger groups, but the highlight is the outdoor area - the pool and garden (and the views) are spectacular. We left refreshed, relaxed and ready for our next trip to Provence.

Sehr gut augestattetes Ferienhaus, toller Garten, in Plan de la Tour
Dieses Ferienhaus ist unweit vom Dorfkern, das fußläufig in 10Minuten zu erreichen ist. Hier bekommt man alle Dinge für den täglichen Bedarf: 2 Bäcker, Metzger, 2 kleine Supermärkte, Wein direkt von den ansässigen Winzern. Zu erwähnen wäre noch der wöchentlich stattfindende Markt, wo insbesondere regionale Lebensmittel angeboten werden. Das Haus liegt auf einer kleinen Anhöhe, von wo man einen schönen Blick auf die gegenüberliegenden Weinberge hat. Das Haus ist mit allen Dingen ausgestattet, die man in den Ferien braucht: Sehr schön angelegter Pool, mediterraner Garten, gemauerter Grill, Tischtennisplatte, Musikanlage etc. Da wir seit ca. 30 Jahren regelmäßig in Plan de la Tour Urlaub machen, haben wir schon viele Häuser in der Umgebung gebucht. Dieses Haus gehört aus unserer Sicht zu den Besten!

Een matig huis met pluspunten maar belangrijke minpunten.
Mooi huis, fraaie tuin met prima zwembad en terras- en zwembadmeubilair. De woonverdieping is prima, mooie woonkamer, prima slaapkamer, fraaie maar krappe badkamer en douche. Goed geoutieerde keuken maar wel een met kleefband gerepareerde kookplaat. Meer dan voldoende serviesgoed. De vijf slaapkamers in de benedenverdieping beoordelen wij als geheel onvoldoende. Het zijn een soort gescheiden cabines waarin je min of meer zit opgesloten. Er ontbreekt in deze krappe kamers airco en zelf is er geen behoorlijke ventilatie. Bij de Zuidfranse zomertemperaturen kan dat eigenlijk niet. Ook de bijbehorende doucheruimten zijn matig (eveneens niet te ventileren). Dat hoort niet bij een luxe huis. Een ander kritisch punt is het functioneren van het elektriciteit systeem. Vele malen viel de stroom uit, ook als we geen apparatuur gebruikten. Soms meerder keren in een uur. Dat was zeer ergerlijk, omdat alle verlichting en het internet daardoor uitvielen. We moesten 's avonds menig keer met verlichting van onze telefoons door het huis. Wij huren al tien jaar verschillende grote huizen in Zuid-Frankrijk. Dit huis was het minste. Soms huren wij een huis voor de tweede keer. Dit huis komt daarvoor niet in aanmerking.

The silence of the area highlights the villa’s charm, with its pleasing exterior and interior charms in a jewel of stone and wood, a delightful garden and a swimming pool that is well-placed relative to the garden and the house, as well as its tastefully-finished interior. The villa’s proximity to the village adds extra convenience, as it can be reached in just a few minutes' walk, and is an authentic village of small stores, exactly as you may have seen in the TV reporting that is regularly done in the region. The village is situated close to the lovely beaches around Sainte-Maxime or Saint-Tropez.
