Amazing Gulf Front Townhome! Pet-Friendly & Close to Dog Beach

Wow, what a delightful town home! Portside Villas #36 is located at the extreme west end of the development. This town home offers an unobstructed view of the protected seashore to the southwest. This area of the beach is undeveloped and will stay that way. The owners spend lots of time and money selecting unique furnishings for this delightful town home.

The ground level garage offers parking for two vehicles. The living level offers the great room which is a combo living/dining/kitchen. This is a large well-equipped space. The living room even has a pull out sleeper sofa. The master bedroom offers a king bed, private master bath and access to the Gulf front deck which can also be accessed from the living area. The second bedroom offers a queen bed, as well as bunks and shares a hall bath with the great room area. This town home is pet-friendly for small dogs only, and a one-minute walk across the dune walkover puts you directly on the white sands of beautiful Pensacola Beach. You can almost feel the sea spray from the balcony. Elevator not available for guests.

Due to HOA regulations, two cars maximum per reservation.

Portside Villas #36 Review
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the condo on Pensacola Beach is great and the condo itself is nice. However, some of the furnishings, especially the sofa and the twin beds are quite old and worn and the entire condo is in need of a deep cleaning. We had to clean the kitchen counters as they looked and felt like they'd been quickly wiped over with a rag that left a dirty film. There were food bits/drippings on kitchen cabinets, dirty silverware in drawer and the coffee pot was dirty. There was mold on floor tile in the shower and a very rusty shelving unit in the shower. Much of the decor throughout had a layer of dust. Overall, we enjoyed our stay mainly because of the location and the nice outdoor patio but it would have been so much better had the place been clean. We know we could have contacted the property management company to have a cleaning crew return. However, it would have required a lengthy cleaning time and we didn't want to disrupt our vacation. We also didn't feel that we should be the one to monitor and report on the work done by the cleaning staff.

Excellent location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Definitely a 5+ star location. Last condo in the complex, on the corner, very private. Best location, two connecting balconies, off master and den, incredible views. Nice home but there is room for improvement. The master bed was comfortable but it was 2 twin beds pushed together which created the annoying crack in the middle. The master bath had a nice shower but poor design, requiring you to get wet to turn on the shower, and there was a very rusted shower caddy in the corner (needs replacement!). The paper supplies and towels were average to below average in quality. Toilet paper 1 ply, thin paper towels and only one roll, and no kleenex or liquid hand soap in the bath or kitchen. The bath towels could be much nicer. For the price and overall feel of the home, upgrading some of these items would bring this home to an overall 5+ star rating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the views, the convenience to the beach, and will return, however these are suggestions to the owners to bring your vacation home to the next level and really justify the per diem. Loved the eclectic furnishings!

Once you get inside the garage there are chairs and beach toys to use if you desire. Upon opening the door to the house we were pleasantly surprised. It was like being at home. Every thing you need is in this house!

Reviewer Comments: We loved everything about this condo: the decor and furnishings, the convenient layout and overall storage, overall cleanliness, and the general feel and ambiance of the condo and location. You can’t beat this end location for watching the sunset! Everything was as described overall. Paradise Beach Homes was so friendly and easy to work with and provided excellent customer service. Horizon Beach Service did an excellent job for us with chairs and umbrella. The full-time neighbors were very friendly and nice. Our only feedback is minor and did not affect our enjoyment of our outstanding vacation: I had to rearrange things in the kitchen in order to have room for groceries because all the cabinets, drawers, and shelves were occupied. We had to clean under all the furniture and beds so that our small dog who would fit underneath didn't get hurt. We swept out a piece of glass, half an old chicken tender (I think), and numerous other trash. We would have loved to be able to use the elevator just for unpacking and packing because carrying boxes and luggage up and down the steps was not so easy for us, but we understand that rule, and we knew it going in. We highly recommend this condo and Paradise Beach Service!
