Convenient location, clean complex with nice layout and responsive management

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. Like many of the reviews have said, the condo is clean, in an amazingly convenient location that's right in the heart of downtown (the 7-11 downstairs is an added bonus if you want to get some quick groceries or snacks), and dealing with the property management firm was a breeze -- they were professional and prompt in all of their communication with me. No hidden fees or charges upon leaving as long as you follow the directions in the binder. These strengths are summarized below (drawbacks to follow).

Pros:

+ great location in the heart of downtown

+ secure building

+ nice, clean property

+ free parking (good if you want to rent a car and park it somewhere safe)

+ quiet and respectful neighbors

Cons:

- no blackout/solid shades or curtains.

This was, perhaps, one of the biggest drawbacks of the property. The shades are translucent off-white, and the bedroom windows face the east, so be prepared to be up with the sun, whether you like it or not. I am not a morning person and neither were the friends I travelled with, so waking up at 6:30 was grueling for our entire party. The rooms also became unbearably HOT as a consequence and waking up feeling sweaty and disgusting is not really how I like to travel!

- beds/sheets were a bit worn and could use replacement.

The beds needed new mattress toppers and the sheets felt old and worn. They were pilling pretty badly and felt very rough. I had this same complaint, as did my friends who travelled and stayed with me at this property. This, coupled with the really bright/hot rooms early in the morning meant I wasn't well-rested on most days during my stay.

- popular bar across the street means noise until 1 or 2 AM, especially on weekends.

I personally wasn't bothered by this because watching the rooftop beach volleyball was fun, and as mentioned above, I'm not a morning person, so we were all up late, but FYI if this kind of thing will bother you.

I hope that upon reading my review, management will consider adding additional curtains and get new sheets and mattress toppers for the beds. I had an overall pleasant stay and because of all the strengths of this location, this property has the potential to earn five stars. However, if my companions and I can't sleep well, then we're not on vacation!

GREAT property, Great location and wonderful property manager.

My husband And I wore a little concerned that we read some of the reviews about the stains on the carpet and the noise across the street. We did not experience any of those problems as the stains were very minimal and we never heard the noise from the bar across the street from. The unit itself was in very nice and had plenty of space for a family. The free parking was all sad to a welcomed addition.

It was great and we will definitely stay there again.

Good. Would stay there again

Carpets could use a shampoo. Hot tub suddenly drained while we were in it. (Not suite owners fault though. Just weird). Great place though. Great location

I investigated the hot tub draining and the building manager let me know they have put in place a weekly cleaning of the hot tub at 4:00pm. It is set to a timer to drain and be cleaned and refilled within a few hours. I do apologize you were not made aware of this - our company was just told of this procedure after the fact. In regards to the carpets, unfortunately the high traffic areas are stained. We shampoo the carpets every couple of months until we can have the owners replace them. Great location!!

If you want to stay where you can walk to just about everything, this is the place. It is noisy at night due to a favorite club across the street, as other reviews say, but the location cannot be beat.

Trouble checking in. Carpets dirty!

Some confusion on checking in - we waited and waited while the agent checked in 2 other people into our unit?? Finally the confusion was recognized and dealt with. The bedroom carpets were SO dirty. with major stains. Very disgusting! The freezer did not work at all and when we reported it we were told that we would need to be in contact with the unit owner. He wanted us to send him a video of the digital controls? Does not seem like it should be our responsibility. So no ice or freezer use.
