We invite you to come and discover our little paradise...
We are David and Aurélie, a French couple living in the Dominican Republic for awhile now!
The beach of your dreams with coconut trees is here!
Far from the tourism crowd, quiet and relaxation are guaranteed for couples, families and even friends!
La Playita is located 30 meters from the swimming. This little bay is yours and has over 1 kilometre of beach.
We also have a restaurant and we can offer you local and Western plates to enjoy on the beach. You can also enjoy our house cocktails facing the sea on a comfortable deck chair.
A charming bungalow and villa located on an exclusive, rugged and authentic property where it is possible to discover a variety of activities such as quad biking, motorbiking, horseback rides on the beach or through the mountain, a 9-hole golf course 20 minutes away (Playa Grande, rated the 4th most beautiful in the world), sea trips with Dominican fishermen in small boats for fishing or excursions (snorkelling) on a 24-foot speedboat.
There is also an organised tour of the Gri Gri Lagoon (UNESCO World Heritage Site), which has a forest of mangrove trees and the tour starts in the centre of Rio San Juan and goes all the way to the ocean, passing through caves and natural pools. There you will discover different species of birds and a strange but enchanting atmosphere...
For those who want to discover the country and nature, there are several wonderful sites. There are many national parks, such as Los Haïtises (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
There are also adventure activities such as hikes to the river or swimming under natural waterfalls. You can take 4x4 trips, horseback rides or walks to discover the exotic and lush nature around you.
There are rafting trips, canyoning or amusement parks where you can swim with the dolphins.
Between mid-January and mid-March you can also head out to the Samana Bay to admire the whales that migrate to the warmer waters of the Dominican Republic to give birth.
Obviously, one of the most popular activities are the discotheques where Dominicans and travellers meet under the sound of Bachata and Merengue (the two main types of music in the Dominican Republic) while sipping a 'cerveza' (beer) or a good local rum.
Close to the sea: 30 metres
We are located on the Atlantic Coast of the Dominican Republic (called 'La Costa Verde'), between Rio San Juan and Gaspard Hernandez.
