Private and shady lanai, 70 steps to the beach!

Direct oceanview from the second floor and nice partial views from the ground floor and lanai. Very shady and private lanai 15 feet from the Dolphin (family) pool. 70 steps to the main Puamana beach access for surfing, snorkeling and swimming.

3 Bedroom/2 bath oceanview comfortably sleeps 6, but we will allow up to 8 in some circumstances. The extensively remodeled master and bath on the lower floor are completely private. The two bedrooms on the upper floor are beautifully designed with an open floor plan and low, open-beam ceiling. Please be aware that the upstairs rooms are open in the front and do not have doors. This is a perfect set-up for children and extended families, and the view from the second floor is fantastic. We have a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

Brand new (12/17) 55 inch curved 4K Samsung TV with sound bar in the living room. All bedrooms have TV with cable.

The two upstairs bedrooms have a large AC unit, and the master bedroom has one as well. There is also a new, 10,000 BTU AC in the downstairs living room and kitchen area. Make sure that the unit you rent has adequate air conditioning, as Lahaina can be extremely hot.

When available, pick bananas right from your lanai for breakfast! Your privacy is protected by Puamana's best banana grove, with delicious fresh bananas available much of the year.

When vacationing with kids, you don't want to have to walk for 10 minutes with all your stuff to the pool. Our unit is literally pool side, only steps away.

There are only two approved ocean access points to the fantastic, uncrowded Puamana coastline. When you stay in our unit, you are literally 70 steps away from having your feet in the water.

This was our family home for many years, and it was set up with separation of space in mind. You can enjoy a glass of wine and watch whales from the upper lanai while your kids play games or watch TV in the downstairs living area!

There is also a nice sitting area/library upstairs which offers the same outstanding ocean views as the upper lanai but allow you to sit in air conditioned comfort while you take in the stunning panorama.

We offer one of the largest and most private lower lanais in Puamana, with room for a luxurious patio seating area and outside dining out of the hot sun.

We think you will find everything you need for a great vacation in Maui, including:

Wonderful perfect place to enjoy a week on Maui!

Doug and Cathy were such accommodating hosts and we truly loved our week here. We spent a lot of time at the beautiful ocean pool, the beach right in front of the house on the property, long walks, enjoyed the brilliant night sky filled with stars and loved being able to get to Lahaina so easily. Our 3 teenagers loved it too! Great for families. The house was very comfortable and well-equipped. We will be back! Puamana is a great community too - be sure to check out the library in the gorgeous clubhouse.

Maui classic in quiet gated community

We were a party of 6 adults & 1 toddler.

We had a great stay and found Doug easy to work with and accommodating.

The place is equipped with everything needed including beach chairs to take on outings.

The master BR is perfect, spacious and upgraded.

The two rooms upstairs are less spacious as it's in a loft area but suitable for sleeping.

One of three pools is directly behind this unit so very convenient.

We loved our stay in Puamana! Great condo

Great condo and location in Puamana. Communication with the owners, Doug & Cathy, was always prompt (within a few minutes usually for our questions). The condo was in great shape when we arrived and we loved the location. Perfect spot for a family holiday. We were really happy to be so close to the pool. We are planning to return next year.

Hello Doug and Cathy, really enjoyed Lahaina and staying at your beautiful townhome

everything was great, clean - homey and spacious. we didn't lack for anything and enjoyed our week very much. I think the adjoining townhouse must have done some spraying for pests because the only negative for me the whole week was coming home to dead insects in the master bathroom and a couple in the closet of master bedroom. thanks very much for a wonderful week in Maui, Teresa

Owner's Response: Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention. Our apologies we want all our guests to enjoy a wonderful vacation and find our home stocked and in beautiful clean condition on arrival. To assure our guest of a wonderful vacation we have hired Maui's premier management company with office open 8-4 seven days a week and a 24/7 number to call if any problems like these occur. Their contact information is in the home and on our webpage. We are also available personally 24/7 and frequently work with guests to resolve issues that come up during their stays. Thus we were disappointed and surprised to hear of these problems after your departure. I wish you had notified our management company or myself on arrival or any time during your stay and we would have promptly had a cork screw delivered and touch up cleaning provided and at your service. When we last visited two months ago the property had a top of line cork screw. We own a small winery and also enjoy a good bottle of wine! We have a wonderful cleaner who lives literally next door. This job is very important to her family and so far her cleaning has been 99% perfect. Of course we greatly appreciate you letting us now and allowing us to nip this in the bud. We have talked to the management company and the cleaner. Our cleaner has assured us she will be redoubling her efforts and is always available if anything isn’t to guest’s satisfaction. We hope you will be able to return again soon and look forward to hosting your next stay. In the cleaner's defense a new by-pass road is being built up the hill creating more dust than usual it will be completed the end of March. It’s been a little dusty however on the positive side we are excited to say it will take 70% of the traffic off the back side of Puamana to soon greatly reducing road noise.

Amazing location and perfect spot for our family vacation!

We had an incredible stay at Doug & Cathy's condo! We visited over the Xmas holiday and enjoyed how private the condo complex felt and the close proximity to all the sites and shopping in Lahaina. Doug and Cathy were quick to respond to all of our questions and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Everything we needed was provided including: beach chairs, plenty of towels, kitchen supplies, etc. The outdoor patio was where we spent most of our time. It was so spacious, comfortable, and close to the "family" pool (literally just a few steps away). We slept 6 adults and 1 child in the condo without issues. The upstairs is technically an open-concept/loft, but the walls surrounding the stairs provide just enough privacy. The grounds at the complex were beautiful and we loved having access to the amazing "adult" pool situated right on the ocean's edge. The ocean was less than a minute walk from our patio and my husband was able to surf there every morning. The only thing we weren't 100% impressed with was the general cleanliness when we arrived. It looked as though the upstairs hadn't been cleaned and the main floor possibly not vacuumed. Luckily the house-cleaner lived just a few doors down and was able to provide a vacuum for us just a few days in to our stay. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking to stay in the Lahaina area and if we ever return to Maui, we will definitely stay here again! Thank you, Doug & Cathy!
