About this property

A log cabin in the Pines

Experience rural West Tennessee in an original log cabin on a berry farm. The home is part of Green Frog Farm, a settlement of restored historic buildings.
With one queen bed downstairs, a full-size bed with a small twin bed in the open sleep loft upstairs, the space accommodates up to 5 people. A full kitchen with dining area overlooks a blueberry field and pond. One downstairs bathroom is shared by all guests.
Relax in the quiet charm of a slower pace of life. Reconnect with history without the distractions of internet or television.

The cabin has central air & heat, fireplace, porches and outdoor grill. It's near a pond and catch & release fishing is allowed. It's located two miles from West TN Safari Park.

A free self-guided tour of the historic grounds of Green Frog Farm is included with your stay.

John or Nancy will greet you on arrival. We live near the premises but not on the premises, so it's helpful to know if your arrival time changes.

The cabin is on a country road near highway 412 approximately 12 miles northwest of Jackson, TN.

Breathtaking
Our stay in Bells was to visit our son, his wife and our granddaughter. This place was so much more than we expected! The cabin was perfect, the grounds were breath taking, and the hosts were friendly and thoughtful. The cinnamon rolls they left for us were so yummy! We loved everything about it. The only negative was the highway sounds, but that would not stop us from going again! Thanks so much for a fantastic weekend!

Going back in time!
Green Frog Village was a great place to rest and enjoy visiting friends and family. My 87 year old mom was entertained by all your log cabins and antiques. Hosts could not have been more accommodating. Privacy to visit pond side by the fire pit or swing and rock on the wrap around porch was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped. The fireplace was so cozy. Overall we loved our 10 day stay in the Pines cabin!

Lovely!
Just like the pictures! Wonderful convenient location to visit Brownsville. Drank coffee in the morning and watched the cotton picking across the street. Built a fire in the pit. No TV, played cards in the evening. Viewed the remainder of the property. So appreciative to have had the opportunity to step back in time. Such a great alternative to hotel chains.

I've been collecting and restoring historical buildings and artifacts in West Tennessee for 30 years. If you visit the cabin please take some time to see the other unique sites nearby, including a working Linotype machine and a cotton gin from 1910. I live in a log house on a farm with my wife, Nancy.
