At this home in the Moonridge community, you're less than 10 minutes by car to both Bear Mountain and Snow Summit ski resorts, and less than 10 minutes to the lakeshore as well.
The home itself is spacious and contemporary-rustic, with fabulous custom woodwork and exposed beam ceilings throughout. After a day on the slopes or swimming in the lake, relax in the private outdoor hot tub with forest views, or melt into the comfy leather sofa next to the brick wood-burning fireplace. A cable TV and DVD player make movie night a cinch. WiFi is provided as well.
An open living space means that you can cook in the fully equipped kitchen without missing out on what's going on in the living or dining areas. When weather permits you can grill outdoors on the deck, which features a charcoal barbecue and a patio table for dining al fresco.
With two large bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, this cabin is great for families, sleeping up to six guests comfortably (the maximum occupancy is eight). A spacious master bedroom features a lovely queen sleigh bed, a TV, and a private bathroom. In the second bedroom you'll find a mission-style queen bed and a set of twin bunk beds, as well as a TV. Two additional twin-size memory-foam mattresses are kept on hand for extra sleeping space.
The home also features a washer and dryer, an air hockey table, and an electric piano for impromptu sing-alongs!
There's so much natural beauty surrounding this Big Bear cabin home, and so much to do year-round - swimming, boating and fishing on the lake; hiking and mountain biking the forest trails; and, of course, the area's famous snow sports. But this home i so cozy and inviting, no one will blame you if you prefer to stay curled up on the sofa with a good book!
