The Space:

This Sports Village Resort unit is great for a couples retreat, small family or temporary lodging. The resort has enviable amenities like pickle ball, tennis, pools/hot tubs, playgrounds and so much more! Bring your mountain bike and ride right from the property into the Green Valley Gap of St George, or enjoy miles of paved biking trails.

This adorable unit has a King in the master bedroom and a what once was a sun deck was remodeled into a bonus room for extra guest accommodations. It has a full futon and a large bean bag love seat to lounge in.

Sports Village in St George Utah is a family -friendly vacation resort that is conveniently located in the Green Valley area and is close to walking/biking trails, golf courses and shopping. Amenities at Sports Village include a spacious clubhouse with lounge, 2 large Jacuzzis, 2 large swimming pools (1 of which is heated in the winter), kids pool, 3 newly-surfaced tennis courts, 2 racquetball courts, basketball courts, sand volleyball, billiard room, weight room, ping pong, air hockey, barbecue area, shuffleboard, mini golf, playground for the kids, and jogging path. They do provide equipment rentals for a small fee at the clubhouse.

The Neighborhood:

Sports Village is a large resort type community. People from all over Utah, the western US and internationally are here. Many visiting the area for the first time as well as a lot of people who own units as second homes. Very family oriented community.

Getting Around:

Though the St George area has a small town feel, most venues are not in walking distance. A car is highly recommended.

No doubt: the best way to get around St. George is by car. The St. George area main attraction, Zion National Park, is about a 1-hour drive from downtown St. George. There is no public transportation to the park but from March to October there is a shuttle system within the park (so just park your vehicle in the town of Springdale and ride the shuttle into the park). During winter months the shuttle does not run so you can drive your own vehicle in the main canyon. Snow Canyon State Park is about 20-minute drive North of St. George.

To get around the city, Saint George offers a local public bus transit system Suntran. Suntran runs three scheduled routes with buses running all over the city. You can also grab a Rider’s Guide at Saint George Chamber of Commerce.

Good location. A home away.

I would have liked a dining chair not stool to sit on.

Need instructions on how to leave the property.

Maybe it needs a new dryer.

This is in an EXCELLENT location with good amenities for recreation and relaxation. We love being at the Sports Village. The cable service was not hooked up and we went a day without much tv viewing. Eventually this was resolved. The price was very fair and we enjoyed our stay. It appeared that the owner was preparing to update the unit, but had not started the project. It is would be even better if it receives an update on kitchen, bathroom, carpet, etc. We did have a comfortable stay.
