This 1805 sq ft unit has 4 bedrooms, all with access to a deck. Master has a king bed and full ensuite bathroom, 2nd bedroom has a queen & twin, 3rd bedroom has a queen bed, 4th bedroom has 2 twins. 3 flat screen televisions with cable and free Wi-Fi. Unit has another full bathroom and a powder room. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, coffee maker, full facility kitchen, linens, towels and so much more. Two dedicated underground parking stalls with private entrance to town house.

Our town house is located just an easy 7 minute walk to ski lifts at the base of Backcomb Mountain and a 15 minute walk to Whistler Village. Don't want to walk? The complimentary shuttle stops right at our building, and it runs about every 15 minutes until 2 AM in the winter.

Great ambiance large vaulted room is excellent with a fire place focal point.

Our hosts got the fire place running within the first 24 hours of our stay which is awesome as the fire place is the focal point of such a large common room. lots of space to sleep 9 people with privacy as the bedrooms are on two separate floors. Will plan a trip back. Than you Cliff and Kim.

Lovely home, nice location

We had a very nice stay in this condo. It is right next to the shuttle stop to the mountain and a block away from the ski out location. The kitchen had everything we needed to make food for all of us. Hot tub was also nice. One quirk is the garage, you need a key to get into the garage with your car, however once you are in the garage you can directly access the unit which is nice. Overall, highly recommend!

Great house. Perfect for 2 families.

We had a great time staying here. Our party consisted of 2 families of 4 with middle aged kids. The house has a great setup over various levels to help give people some privacy. It also has good communal areas.

The kitchen was well stocked and worked fine.

My only minor issue was with the lighting in the downstairs double bedroom. I had to use a torch at any time of the day to find my clothes.

Other than that I’d recommend it.

Owner's Response: The guests immediately prior to this guest broke one of the two lamps in that bedroom which, unfortunately, impacted the amount of lighting. The lamp has since been replaced.

Large 4 bedroom condo

Condo was in good condition as described in posting. The ceiling fan light in living room doesn't work and another lamp bulb burned out (no extra), but minor problems. Upstairs with nice living room, full kitchen, dining area. Heated floors in kitchen and master bath were great and all the bedrooms and baths were in good condition. Plenty of room with 1 master upstairs and 3 bedrooms downstairs. Lighting dim with only lamps in some of the rooms. Several flights of stairs as noted in description and other postings, especially going to and from garage at lowest level. I enjoyed the workout, but older relatives with joint/leg problems would have a challenge.

Parking garage was great. The shuttle was often very crowded coming back from slopes and sometimes had to wait 15-20 minutes for it to come to the stop (we stayed over Christmas), but there is a convenient stop just outside the condo complex. Walk to village is doable but a good trek and parts are not well lit at night. If we come back to Whistler, we'd probably stay a few blocks closer to blackcomb with ski in/ski out, but we'd have to settle for a smaller condo. If you want a big condo with 4 bedrooms, nice condition, and don't mind the stairs and taking the shuttle/driving, this is a good option.

The townhouse was very satisfactory but several things ruined our stay. There were 1 shower in the en suites on the upper level and one on the lower level The upper one was so hot no-one could use it so there were 8 of us having to queue for the lower level.

The site was also a builders yard. we were met with a large skip in the entrance, there was scaffolding all over the place and we were woken every morning at 8 am with workers shouting and power tools revving up. we were not alerted to this before we arrived otherwise we would have chosen somewhere else. We noticed that no other townhouse in the complex had been rented out during this period so the other townhouse owners must have realised how disruptive and unpleasant it would be. We had 2 workers wander in one morning to check the gas heater, and although they were very polite it should not have happened. This townhouse was a lot more expensive than others but as it was a special occasion we decided to pay the extra. it was my mother's 90th birthday and family had travelled from Australia, GB and Vancouver to go there. it was the first time we had been together as a family for 12 years I wrote to the owners but they did not respond, not even an apology which led us to believe they just didn't care. What should have been a very relaxing stay, which took a lot of planning was spoilt.

Owner's Response: It is regrettable that the guest felt that they had a less than satisfactory stay. Unfortunately they chose not to contact us during their stay to advise us of their concerns. We have had the shower inspected and it functions normally. We can not explain the difficulty they had in using the shower. All bathrooms were completely renovated 10 months ago and are in complete working order. As note in previous reviews we address all maintenance concerns promptly when notified by a guest. The workers that attended were conducting safety inspections of all the gas fireplaces in the complex. Provincial regulations require that these inspections be conducted regularly. This is coordinated by the complex property manager and we are not in a position to defer or waive these safety inspections. We have rented properties through VRBO ourselves many times and have never been offended when maintenance personnel attend a property to ensure it is maintained properly. The guests who stayed immediately prior to these guests did not raise any issues or concerns and, in fact, left a complimentary review and sent a personal email expressing their satisfaction.

Great condo and loacation

We spent 4 days in Whistler and at this great condo. it was only a 10 minute walk to the Blackcomb lifts and the Upper Village. We were able to leave the car in the underground garage as we could walk to everything we were interested in. The kitchen was well stocked and there were enough towels and linen to go around.. Everybody mentioned that their bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed the use of this clean and comfortable condo. There are a lot of stairs but that did not bother us at all. The condo met all our expectations and we will definitely look this place up again if we get back to Whistler.

Why Cliff Ehnes and Kim Briscoe chose Upper Village

We chose Snowbird for many reasons. Of all the properties we looked at, this town home had the most charm and it is huge, not one of those cramped condos with a pull out couch to squeeze in those extra people. It is close to the village while being in a safe quiet neighbourhood.

The vaulted ceilings and large windows on the main floor offer lots of natural light and space. It comfortably sleeps 9 without needing to use a pullout couch. The beds and furniture are comfortable. All of the bedrooms are quite large, and have balcony access. It is so nice to step out and enjoy the views; plus there is a deck off of the living room too. We have two reserved stalls in the secured underground parking, with direct access to the unit, and when you take off your ski boots, the heated floor feels great. We are really enjoying our second home in Whistler. I hope you will too.

What makes this townhome unique

Snowbird is only a seven minute walk from the base of Blackcomb and a 15 minute walk to The Village, along paved trails.

There is a complimentary bus that stops right at the complex (#5) and takes you town.

This free bus runs every 15 minutes until 2 AM in the winter season (and the bus drivers are so helpful, lots of fun.) This means you can ski, enjoy a little après ski, take a little nap, go for dinner at one of Whistler's world class restaurants, do a little nightclubbing, and get safely home.
