18th cent.stone farmhouse-splendid view & swimming pool

Originally an old oil mill built in 1700, lovely preserved and restored. Interiors renovated in 2012. A huge swimming pool with a whirlpool bath and a 100 sq. meters terrace face the Tirrenean coast. Outdoor areas fully equipped, including a BBQ and wood-fire pizza oven, ping pong table. Free Wi-Fi. Very peaceful, with a splendid 180° sea view from the hills of Massarosa. Close to the beach and to the main cities of art (Lucca, Pisa, Florence). A just restored annex is available for rent in case of groups of 12/14 people(please visit our website or contact us for additional information). The true countryside a stone's throw away from the beach!! The pool is open from mid-April to mid-October. PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITE TO REVIEW OUR LAST MINUTE OFFERS.

Sehr schönes Haus mit tollem Pool, große Küche und auch der Aussenbereich sehr großzügig. Mit einer großen Gruppe sehr zu empfehlen.

Fin upplevelse
Fantastiskt fint belägen villa med en otrolig utsikt. Väldigt rent och fint. Finns 5 sovrum, 4 med dubbelsäng och gemmensamt täcke, det blev svårt med sängplatser för oss eftersom alla inte var bekvämma med att dela säng. Villan är annonserad för 14 personer vi var 10 och trångt. Wifi fungerade inte på hela veckan. Även poolen och jaccusi var täckt med presening vilket var en besvikelse eftersom den står Maj - Oktober,tolkade vi att det skulle vara öppet under Oktober månad. Erbjöd oss att betala extra för att slippa preseningen men fick nej. Utrustning: Inga dynor till solstolar och väldigt utslitna kastruller i köket samt kaffemasin med kapslar som var svåra att hitta i affären. Bra att det framgår att man hyr halva huset inte hela. Huset var delat med separata ingångar men lyhört, mycket ljud från angränsande rum. Kommer inte att rekommendera till mina vänner.

Sehr schönes Haus jedoch mit einigen Mängeln.
Sehr schönes, rustikales und stilvolles Haus an Top-Lage mit herrlicher Aussicht. Die Zimmer sind alle sehr schön und mit einer Klimaanlage versehen. Küche: Die Küche ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Schubladen und Schränke (Kühlschrank, Backofentüre) waren teilweise sehr mühsam zu öffnen und zu schliessen. Pool: Der Pool ist fantastisch und wurde auch täglich morgens in der Früh gereinigt. Zum Pool gehörte eigentlich noch ein Jacuzzi. Leider ist dieses defekt und wir konnten es nicht benutzen. Sehr schade, weil wir uns letztlich zwischen 2 Häusern entscheiden mussten und das Jacuzzi der ausschlaggebende Punkt war. Leider hat der Besitzer auf unseren Hinweis darauf nicht richtig reagiert. Man kann davon ausgehen, dass das Jacuzzi nicht mehr repariert wird. Eine entsprechende Info im Vorfeld wäre angebracht gewesen. Tischfussball: Auch auf diesen haben wir uns gefreut. Leider war dieser unbrauchbar, da er stark verrostet war und auch einzelne Handgriffe fehlten. Deshalb konnten wir ihn nicht benutzen. Duschen: Der Duschkopf im Masterbad im obersten Stockwerk war derart verkalkt, dass lediglich vier dünne Wasserstrahlen aus dem Duschkopf "spritzten". Dieser Punkt wurde auch von früheren Mietern bemängelt. Auch das Reinigen mit einem Entkalkungsspray nützte nichts. Bei weiteren Duschen war das Problem ebenfalls vorhanden. Noch einen Tipp für Weinliebhaber: Die Weingläser müsst ihr selber mitnehmen, da es keine hat! Der Vermieter hat uns mitgeteilt, dass diese sowieso immer kaputt gehen. Aus diesem Grund hätten sie keine mehr angeschafft. Wir seien auch die ersten gewesen, die danach gefragt haben.. Alles in allem konnten wir einen schönen Urlaub in einem schönen Haus verbringen. Wir würden 3.5 Sterne vergeben, wenn dies möglich wäre.

A beautiful piece of paradise
Our family of 8 adults stayed here for 2 wonderful weeks. The kitchen was well equipped and large enough for all 8 of us to prepare a meal. The bedrooms and bathrooms were adequate in size And there was plenty of towels for both inside and around the pool. We especially enjoyed the pool and deck with the gorgeous views. The outdoor shower was a big hit! The large outdoor table and sitting area was great as we had all meals outside. The location was great for doing day trips to Viareggio, Florence, Venice, Pisa and Rome. The one con would be that it did not have air conditioning. We were very fortunate to have 2 weeks of hot weather! Ivana and Roberto and son Alex were very nice and extremely welcoming. Would recommend this place. There is a quaint restaurant down the hill in Massarosa. At the end of the road, turn left and go 2 blocks. It,s located on the corner and has an ivy covered entry - a must go to for good food.
