The owners live upstairs and rent the apartment as it's own separate rental. It has a separate entrance and shares a laundry room. It also has a private covered lanai and a larger shared bbq area. The apartment stays cool year round and is surrounded by lush landscaping. There is Air Conditioning in all 3 bedrooms.

1st bedroom: 1 queen bed, 2nd bedroom: 1 queen bed, 3rd bedroom: 2 twins/1 king bed. Our home is located in the charming small beach town of Paia, Maui. Here you will find something for everyone. In Paia town, you will find many cute boutiques selling everything from crafts, clothing, art and bikinis, most made by local artists. There are also many art galleries, restuarants, and bars with music on weekends. Paia is also world famous for it's incredible beaches which are very picturesque and rarely crowded. You will also find many windsurfers, kiteboarders, and surfers from around the world, all here to surf at famous Ho'okipa Beach Park. Also just a 20 minute drive away is the amazing surf break Jaws, which has seen surfable waves well over 50 feet.

The house is located in a typical north shore Maui neighborhood with a colorful mix of locals, mainland transplants and tourists. It is only 4 blocks to downtown Paia, and only a 10 minute walk to idyllic Paia Bay beach. Also, only a 3 minute drive to world famous Ho'okipa beach park. It is super convenient in it's proximity to Paia town and the many north shore beaches. It is also only a short drive to the airport, malls, movie theaters, historic Makawao, and jungled Haiku. The house and neighborhood are very family friendly. It is far from the main road with only the typical noises of children playing. The owners do live upstairs and have 2 children, but are dedicated to your comfort.

We do live upstairs in a 2 bedroom apartment and have 2 young girls. But, your privacy and solitude are our primary concern. We are available 24/7 to address your questions and concerns.
Since this is the tropics, there are many insects that thrive outside the home. We do our part by taking the proper care of keeping the apartment spotless, as well as setting insect baits every couple of months etc. Please help us by keeping food sealed and front door closed. We do not offer refunds due to insects in the home.
We will enforce a penalty of $25/night per additional guest plus tax for any guests over our maximum of 6 guests allowed per stay. The apartment is small, so for your comfort and in order to keep our rates reasonable and wear and tear reasonable, we only allow a max of 6 guests per stay.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
