BEAVER POINT LODGE

PLEASE NOTE: An update to the lower level was completed in January 2018. A full bath, including tub/shower combo, was added to the bedroom with the king bed, which required the replacement of that bed with a queen bed. In the bedroom with 2 queen beds, one of the queen beds was replaced with 2 sets of bunk beds, so that bedroom will sleep 6. The new bath is included in the total of 3.5 baths. Pictures will be updated by April 2018.

The well-maintained Beaver Point Lodge offers FANTASTIC LAKE VIEWS from every room in the house and DIRECT ACCESS TO BEAVER LAKE! Guests visit Beaver Point Lodge for family reunions, romantic getaways, shopping trips, fishing trips and just to enjoy time with friends. Bring your boats or rent one from the nearby Lost Bridge Marina. There is parking for your boat trailers on the property. Or just enjoy fishing or swimming right off the owner's private boat dock. In the winter, enjoy a game of pool or a football game on the 48" high definition TV in the family room. Or relax with a good book in front of a roaring fire in the living room.

If you have never been to Beaver Lake, it covers 28,000 acres and is extremely clear due to the rocky shoreline highlighted by limestone bluffs. In fact, previous guests say it is one of the clearest lakes they have ever seen! The lake is temperate for swimming from mid-May through mid-September and families enjoy all types of watersports. The lake supports bass, crappie, bream and whitefish fishing and has given up several 40-pound-plus state-record stripers. Near Beaver Point Lodge, the lake flows into the White River, which is a great spot for canoeing or fly fishing, and on into Table Rock Lake.

Beaver Point Lodge enjoys an open floor plan with 2,400 square feet including full living areas on each floor, 3 bedrooms and 3-1/2 bathrooms. Walk right in from the parking area to the main level which includes the main living/dining area, kitchen, half bath and master suite with king-size bed and large full bath. Take steps down to the lower level where you will find another living area, a 2nd bedroom with a queen-size bed and on-suite bath, a 3rd bedroom with a queen-size bed and TWO sets of bunk beds, a 3rd full bath, and two sleeper sofas.

Outside, bask in the amazing views from 375 square feet of deck on each level with plenty of seating, a picnic table and a charcoal grill. Shoreline is just across the road and down 20 steps. There is parking near the front door for several vehicles and parking for two vehicles at the top of the steps leading down to the shoreline for easy access to the water. The driveway is very steep but paved. Beaver Point Lodge is part of the Lost Bridge Village community association and all roads to the lodge are paved and in good condition.

The kitchen includes everything you will need to make yourself at home - microwave, dishwasher, griddle, coffee maker and filters, Keurig, blender, all cooking utensils, bakeware, etc. The owner provides all towels, soap, paper towels, trash bags, dish detergent and laundry detergent. All beds are complete with soft linens, pillows, blankets and comforters.

Here is the "Top 10" list of comments from the many positive reviews of previous guests - scroll further down the page to read the reviews in full:

1. My family and several of my friends and their families have been renting houses on Beaver Lake for about 10 years now...and we have found the ONE!

2. Ray goes above and beyond to make sure the house is perfect for his guests. We have stayed at other properties on the lake but are now spoiled and won't stay anywhere else.

3. My fiancé and I have both said "I want to go back" several times this evening. Very relaxing, clean, comfortable and the view is incredible.

4. Great customer service: timely information, prompt responses to our questions and payment confirmation....very professional!!

5. The panoramic view of Beaver Lake is the most beautiful lake view I have seen. The deer are everywhere and will walk right up close to you.

6. This home is fantastic! Everyone raves about the view and rightly so, it is amazing.

7. Inside, the lodge is decorated tastefully, and the owner has selected some of the most comfortable furniture we have ever encountered in a rental. The sectional sofa on the main floor is almost sinfully comfortable.

8. The kitchen was well-lighted, well-equipped, and very user-friendly. We do a lot of cooking during our times away and a well-appointed kitchen is important to us.

9. We loved everything about our stay. Ray had the house decorated for Christmas which added to our excitement. Our first step inside the house took our breath away!

10. I very much appreciate that we were able to bring 2 dogs - they are part of the family too! And almost every morning we saw a group of 8 deer walking across the property.

In summary, Beaver Point Lodge is a family friendly, fully furnished private lake home that will inspire you to relax in the natural beauty of the warm Ozark Mountains. Not one detail has been overlooked. You will be delighted you chose Beaver Point Lodge for your vacation getaway!

About Ray Smith

I am a CPA and church organist who lives in Overland Park, Kansas, part of the Kansas City metropolitan area. I grew up and went to college in Missouri, and have also lived in Florida and West Virginia. There is nothing more relaxing for me then spending time with friends and family enjoying Beaver Lake. This is my only rental property so I strive to provide exceptional service and am always just a phone call away. I take to heart any suggestions I receive, and am continually updating items in the home so that future guests can have an exceptional experience.

Ray Smith purchased this house in 2009

Why Ray Smith chose Lost Bridge Village

Beaver Lake is crystal clear. On a calm day, you can see 20+ feet down into the water. The lake is 28,000 acres and there are huge areas for boating, not just a bunch of narrow channels. During the week, I can be out on the lake and rarely see another boat. I especially enjoy sitting on the dock and reading a good book. Because my dock is out on a point, I can really soak in the beauty of nature surrounding me.

What makes this house unique

The views don't get any better than from my home no matter which room you happen to be in. It is also an easy walk down to the dock...if you want to park on the street and avoid walking up and down the driveway! I owned another house on Beaver Lake previously and the two things that were missing were views and easy lake access, so I made sure to correct that when I purchased this home.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Kids loved tubing, being "pool sharks" downstairs, scratching words into rocks ("rock factory business") and snorkeling around dock for "buried treasure" (broken lawn chair and tire). Adults ATE, watched the changing weather from the deck, laughed at kid's antics and FORGOT TO LOOK AT CELL PHONES!

We never left! Once we found the place we were glued here! Well stocked kitchen so we did fine - thanks! Great view, great boat dock, deer were fun - we love Beaver Lake!

Thanks for opening your home to so many. It was lovely and well appointed!

The Perfect Vacation!

  • 5 of 5

When looking for a place to stay on Beaver Lake we found this property. We couldn't believe how amazing it looked online and booked it right away. The pictures were amazing and the price was even better. When we arrived we were even more excited than when we booked our vacation. The house was stunning and the views from the deck were even more so.

Once we finally made our way down to the lake we were again overly impressed. It is by far the prettiest lake I have ever seen. My husband, who has seen and fished many many lakes, said he had never seen a lake this pretty besides when he was in Canada. The clarity of the water was easily 10-12 feet.

Our group included 4 adults and 3 children under the age of 5. The house was set up perfectly with each family taking one of the levels for sleeping. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything we needed and the dining table was big enough to accommodate all of us. The couch couldn't have been more comfy and whoever was lucky enough to sit in "the spot" had the best seat in the house for lake viewing indoors. Once you find "the spot" on the couch you will know.

The deck. The deck was amazing. Waking up in the morning and watching the sun come up and the wildlife wake up was a highlight from our stay. We also had night visitors of deer. They stood below the deck and ate anything we tossed them. The kids especially enjoyed that.

We spent most of our days either on the deck or boating, fishing from the dock or boat and swimming. I cant say enough good things about this place. We will for sure be back and tell everyone we know who is looking for a great vacation spot about Beaver Point Lodge.

Also, I have to mention how great Ray is. He was extremely helpful with answering many questions before and during our stay. We even got to meet him on the last day of our vacation and you wont find anyone nicer than him.

very Nice

  • 4 of 5

Had trouble with keeping basement or down stairs warm, as kids slept down. Burning a fire upstairs gives very little heat down. I wouldn't do this property in winter again but would like to try it in summer!

Owner's Response: For future guests reading this review, I do include instructions in the welcome information about closing most of the upstairs vents in the winter. For several reasons the main level of the house does tend to be warmer than the downstairs in the winter and this helps a lot. Some guests only use the main level so I prefer to let guests adjust the vents as needed to their particular comfort level. In January 2018, as I was updating the lower level, I added insulation which will also help to keep the lower level warmer in the winter.

Relaxing trip.

Had a good time. The house had plenty of room for everyone to get their own space. Enjoyed the view while playing pool, and great view of the morning sunrise.
