About this property

Mill Cottage - Tintagel Holiday Cottage, for surfing, sunbathing, hiking for all

Mill Cottage is a delightful, cosy 3 bedroom cottage with character and lots of charm, in a quiet location in the beautiful north Cornwall countryside.

Mill Cottage is a 200 year old stone built barn conversion that has been tastefully renovated and refurbished and yet has retained its character. With 3 bedrooms, it comfortably sleeps 6 - perfect for families, couples or friends! There is also space for a travel cot in the double and one of the twin rooms.

Situated 1.5 miles from the stunning Bossiney Haven beach and coastal path, Mill Cottage is in an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty" and is the perfect place to spend a peaceful and relaxed holiday.  The hamlet of Trevillet feels deep in the countryside with stunning sea views over unspoilt rolling countryside, but is actually only 2 miles from the popular town of Tintagel with all its shops and restaurants. Here you will find the castle, the coastal path, Cornwall’s highest waterfall, beautiful woodlands and some of the finest sandy beaches only a beautiful stroll or 5 minute drive away.

The cottage is equipped with everything you need to have a comfortable stay - whether you want to fully self-cater, or whether you'd prefer to take advantage of the many local restautrants, cafes and pubs. The enclosed garden provides seating and space to sit, relax, and listen to birdsong and breathe in the sea air.  With no through traffic to the hamlet, Trevillett is quiet enough for your children to explore the lanes and public footpaths right on the doorstep.  At night the display of stars is breathtaking, as is the sea view from the end of the lane.

A very enjoyable two months
We stayed at Mill Cottage during the winter. It was a very comfortable stay, in a perfect location for enjoying the villages of North Cornwall, and the breathtaking Coast Path. The cottage was very well equipped for self-catering, with all appliances and utensils supplied. The large refrigerator with freezer was particularly appreciated. Everything was very clean when we arrived. Communication with the owner was excellent. We encountered several electrical issues upon arrival, which were caused by a lightning storm which did much damage in the surrounding area. The owner assisted in a very timely manner, to ensure that the damaged equipment was replaced as quickly as practicable. In summary, we thoroughly enjoyed our two month stay, and would not hesitate to stay again in the future.

Lovely cottage, we liked the bedrooms downstairs. Everything we needed in the kitchen. Very clean and comfortable. We had some great weather so had coffee on outside bend in the sun. Spent days out, at beaches, port izac, swimming at cve below Tintagel Castle. Spent evenings eating in, good side dinning table, great for board games. saw lovely sunset from field. Big sofas and plenty of space for us all to chill. Beds made with lovely white linen and comfortable. Easy to relax. Tintagel great for coffee, browsing small shops. Etc. Went several times and used the Premiere supermarket which had pretty much all we needed. Thankyou for sharing your lovely cottage.

Look no further!!
This little cottage is the perfect getaway. Set just a short walk from Tintagel, it is perfect for families who want to enjoy coastal views! The property itself had all the amenities we could have wished for and contact between the owners is incredibly easy. We shall certainly hope to return soon!

Lovely cottage in beautiful surrounding
Property was spacious and well laid out. Bedrooms, being lower level were cool in this heatwave we are having. Garden was lovely, my 8 year old loved the swing. Friendly neighbours added to experience.
