Great place for families.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here while my son was playing baseball in Cooperstown,NY. This was a perfect spot to not be in the more congested area around park while still having the convience of being only 15-20 mins from the park. We enjoyed having the place on the lake to fish and relax.

Private setting, Comfortable Layout, Beautiful View of Lake - Go for it!

  • 4 of 5

My family had a wonderful time in late August 2017. Our son was playing at Dreams Park and it was a comfortable 15 minute drive. The master bedroom is huge, with vaulted ceiling and skylights, accompanied by a loft/office area that has a world class view of the lake....and overlooks the 2 story Living Room as well. After the tournament ended our 12 y/o son pulled out the futon and stayed in the loft. My daughter and her cousin did great in the bunk beds in the 2nd bedroom, and our 3 year old did fine on his throw mattress.

The row boat was easy to use, as well as the owners single and double kayak. We easily used the barbecue grill and fire pit out back as well.

The hot water was fine, but not as hot in temperature as Home....

Some sinks had slow drains, and typical for the region there was no garbage disposal, so that took some adjusting.

My wife was delighted that there were absolutely no signs of mice or rodents in doors.....despite the country rural setting - what a relief.

We easily did laundry, and cooked meals with a well equipped kitchen with utensils, dishes, pans, everything you need.

The wifi was adequeate with handheld devices, but intermittent and not adequate to the Television, so NetFlix was not a success. This isnt a big deal for most, but our 3 yo was disappointed.

I definitely recommend the accommodations. The owner checked in right away to see that we were doing fine, and asked if we had questions. This was considerate.

We arrived in the evening and were so impressed with the beautiful bright star sky. Dont forget to count your lucky stars!

My son played ball at Cooperstown while the rest of the family stayed at the lakehouse. It was SO peaceful! The house was updated, clean, and had the perfect layout for us to relax and enjoy. It was also surprisingly close to the ballfields and sat right near the lake with its own dock. I highly recommend renting this house.

Great for the other family members who might want to fish, canoe, kayak or swim. We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay! Thanks for being such great guests!

Great summer lake house!

This was our second year here and we loved it just as much as the first time. Great open space with lots of light. The back yard and lake access make for a great stay. Very close to Cooperstown Dream Park.

Awesome Time!

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful home right on the lake, quick driving distances to Cooperstown, as well as both Dreams Park and All Star Village and wonderful owners. What more could you ask for??? We stayed for two consecutive weeks as we had one son playing baseball at Dreams Park and another son playing baseball at All Star Village. We would have loved to stay another week to relax! The first week we were there, we had a bad heat wave with temperatures ranging over 95% and 100% humidity. The house does not have central air although there are many ceiling fans that typically do the job along with the breeze from the lake. Although that first week could have been unbearable with the heat, Susan, the owner, did everything she could possibly do to make our stay more comfortable. She ordered an air conditioner for the master bedroom as well as additional rotating fans. She had them ordered and paid for and would have had someone pick them up and install them, however, we chose to do that ourselves. She really went out of her way to make us happy! We will likely be back in Cooperstown in a year or two for our younger son and we plan on staying here again. Truly 5 star home and service. Thank you Susan!

Our son stayed at Cooperstown Dream Park and this was the perfect house to still entertain our two daughters while we waited for our son to play games. The house was beautiful, and the view of the lake was gorgeous!! We had a blast swimming, kayaking, and canoeing. Thank you!
