Beautiful cabins in a lush setting.

  • 5 of 5

New cabins in a secluded setting near Volcano National Park entrance. Close to restaurants in Volcano Village. Great location for visiting the park, South Point, and the town's in between.

Fun little cottage

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay. The location was great, within a few miles from Volcano National Park. We spent most of our time at Volcano National Park, Flea/Open Market, site seeing, Waipio Valley and whale watching.

Comfortable stay

  • 4 of 5

We spent two nights here and it was a really pleasant stay. The cottage is nicely decorated, very comfortable bed, beautiful surroundings. Plan on doing very minimal cooking here—an outside grill would have been nice. Internet was spotty and quite annoying sometimes. There is no television but we didn’t miss it. So nice to wake up gently to chirping birds and light coming in through the skylights. The gas fireplace was delightful in taking the chill off at night. I’d definitely come back again, especially for the very close proximity to Volcanoes National Park!

Cozy Cottage near Volcano Park

  • 5 of 5

Perfect little place for our two night visit to volcano island! Loved that there was a fireplace and small kitchen for breakfast. Close to Volcano National Park. Missed the tv a bit as the Olympics were on but happy to have the internet to check results. We were able to enjoy the quiet! Thanks for the hospitality.

Great place, but uncomfortably cold and fireplace doesn’t work

  • 2 of 5

We were thrillled upon entering until we learned the reason we rented the cottage, the fireplace, does not work at all. It’s too bad because it had everything else. Very clean, hot shower, coffee and tea, very cozy feeling, ideal for a couple getaway. Don’t rent unless the fireplace is fixed. It’s cold in the rain forest. Heater in corner of room provides no heat for room, only for corner. Electric blanket was helpful at night. Would have preferred to give 5 stars but being cold for our entire stay prohibits that.

A beautifully built and maintained cottage in the forest

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I spent 5 nights here quite comfortably, as a base of operations for exploring the National Park. The King bed is probably the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on and the heater and gas fireplace were a godsend - it can be COLD up here in Volcano. In fact, I recommend bringing slippers for a cold floor, and warm clothes that would be useless in Kona. There is not much of a kitchen - just a microwave and mini-fridge - so you will be eating out most of the time. There is no TV. Basically it is a handsome, comfortable place to stay, only five minutes from the Park entrance. Internet note: the cottages have WiFi was it was spotty and weak when we were there. We have notified the owner - but check in the status before you book if staying connected is important to you.
