Exceeded our expectations in every single way.
This was just the perfect place to stay for us and our two young children. A gated complex that relies on fobs for access and 24/7 security meant it was very secure and reassuring when travelling with small inquisitive children. The underground car park was great for keeping the car safe (again fob access required) and more importantly in August...cool.
The apartment is simply stunning and all to a very high standard. Modern appliances in the fully equipped kitchen had all the bits-n-bobs you need when staying in a private apartment. The separate utility area has a very modern, separate washing machine and tumble dryer. Great to have a cordless vacuum for making sure the apartment stays as spotless as when you checked in. It is portable too, so we used it for getting sand out of the hire car. The living area has excellent large TV, sofas and a lovely dining table. Perfect for up to 6 people. There is a fantastic cupboard in the living area that was a huge hit with the children. Contained everything you need for a beach-type holiday. Bedrooms, again to a very high standard. The Master bedroom has a lovely large en-suite along with a brilliant walk-in wardrobe. The 2 other bedrooms are of equal size and both have fitted wardrobes with lots of hangers and drawer space. All rooms have window shutters. The balcony has lovely, comfortable furniture for enjoying a drink, along with a table for 6 for dinner and drinks.
Pool/communal areas are absolutely fantastic. 3 large pools. We enjoyed them all, with the children spending hours on the waterslides. Pool temperatures are perfect. Lifeguards are very attentive and make sure everyone is safe in the pools. Also, complex 4 whirlpool-type pools to relax in too. Communal toilets are very clean and regularly cleaned.
The local area was lovely, would highly recommend a hire to enjoy the greater area. We used this for meals out and for shopping. The only beach we tried was Playa Flamenca and the children really enjoyed it. Lovely bay type with beach with fine sand and gentle waves. The apartment has a beach umbrella, chair and buckets and spades for you to take to the beach.
The owner (David) is super friendly and forthcoming with information. Andrzej will meet you with keys on your first day and is always on hand. Our daughter left something that is very precious to her under her pillow. This is now on its way back to her in the UK via express post. Thank you, Andrzej.
