Perfect property
Took a quick trip up north with family for New Years weekend. Snow didn’t cooperate for sledding but the house did not disappoint. We rented the south unit and the adjoining 3 bedrooms. Location was perfect for our needs. House was very clean and had all of the north woods charm we love. Each room had little added touches for a nice homey feel. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of space to spread out when we needed a little time apart and perfect space for all of us to sit around the table for a meal or to play a few games. Host was very responsive with any questions and even reached out a few times during our stay to see if we needed anything. Would definitely book again!

Why they chose this property

My family had been dreaming of a north woods home for years. Every year our extended family vacationed in the Hayward, Minocqua, & Door County regions but never felt like the place had everything we needed or was big enough for everyone. We knew that we were not the only family with this issue, so we set out to find a place that encompassed everything: We miraculously found this at The Musky Inn: location, space, amenities, and history. The location is ideal: Thousands of lakes surround you, yet you are close to Minocqua, Woodruff, St Germain & Eagle River that have all the amenities of a nice small town.

What makes this property unique

The lodge's size and history made this an easy choice for our current renovation project. It is one of the most beautiful locations and buildings in the north woods. Make sure you read the history of the Musky Inn beginning with the dream of a French physician Amadee Chabrison.
