About Sabryna and Anthony

We're avid skiers and outdoor enthusiasts who love Maine in EVERY season. Loafers and 'adopted' Mainers since 2006, we can't visit without having at least 2 lobsters (its a family rule). While the skiing is amazing (we've convinced the best on the East Coast hands down) in recent years we've spent more time exploring the area in the summer - between hiking the AT +Bigelow, kayaking Flagstaff Lake, golf, and white water rafting. Unfortunately due to work, we can't be there every weekend and thus would like to share our special home with you!

Comfortable, clean and relaxing for our quiet in July getaway week!

  • 4 of 5

A really great corner of Maine, where you can walk for hours seeing more deer than people. Aside from Sugarloaf Fitness Center - a real bargain at $8 a day - This area you do what you bring with you or you drive some to get to it. Restaurants are limited and Sugarloaf is very quiet this time of year. Flagstaff is a beautiful lake for kayaking and canoeing. Well worth the 30 minute drive.

Anthony and Sabrina were very helpful with tips about the area's features as well as fast in responding to inquiries. Their 3 bedroom condo was clean, well maintained, and very comfortable for our family of 4. A small barbecue for charcoal grilling (not gas) would be a nice addition for summer rentals like us. Not having one didn't interfere with our enjoyment of their lodge and this special area of Maine. Thank you Sabryna and Anthony.

Very Nice New Condo

  • 5 of 5

My family stayed here for winter break at the end of February. We had four people and the condo was perfect. It is very nicely decorated. TVs in every room. You can walk to the West Chair lift on the weekends, but during the week that lift doesn't run, so you have a to take a shuttle which comes around twice an hour. It's a very short walk to the pick-up spot. Make sure to bring all your condiments and oils for cooking. The kitchen is cleaned out after each guest. Sugarloaf is a great mountain. It's as close to a Western style mountain as there is on the East Coast. Definitely go to the Rack for wings and other food. Its just down the hill from the condo (2 miles). At night they have live music. This is the local ski bar. If you are planning to spend a week here check out the MaxPass, it could save you money.

Okay but...

  • 2 of 5

There were three of us scheduled to stay in the condo. I ended up not going due to illness, but my brother and nephew did go. On arriving Monday late afternoon March 6, they found a bed unmade, dirty dishes, trash, laundry in garbage bags...a disappointment, to say the least. After much texting and calling, they were told by the owner that there was another condo that was in better shape that they were welcome to transfer to if they wanted, so they did. This one was in good shape, but they and I expected better of VRBO.

Owner's Response: Hi Tim - I'm very sorry that your brother and nephew had to walk in on a house in that state. There was a mix up with the cleaners which house they were checking into. As soon as I was notified of the condition, I immediately rectified the situation and directed them to the correct property next door which was up to our normal high standard. I appreciate your understanding on the initial inconvenience.

Fantastic condo!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at the condo. It comfortably handled three couples and a 5 year old. The shuttle to the base lodge was very convenient and, if there were snow, it would have been an easy ski in/ski out from the West Mountain Chair. Overall, a great experience. Thanks!
