The property was absolutely perfect for our needs. It was clean and spacious and in a fantastic location right next to the nature reserve. So peaceful but also easily accessible for exploring the surrounding area. The children loved visiting the donkeys every morning and evening and our daughter was heartbroken when she had to leave them behind. Trudie was the perfect welcoming host and encouraged us to visit her incredible nature garden next door to the property. It was quite telling that the visitors book had several comments from people who had visited multiple times. We will certainly be going back again.
We had a lovely week in Tresco, we couldn't have wished for anything better. The setting is wonderful with a nature reserve opposite and so many birds in the garden. Trudie was incredibly helpful and friendly, we really loved the tour around her amazing garden, which has many different sections and is a haven for wildlife. Thank you so much Trudie, we hope to see you again soon.

About the host
Hosted by Mrs Lucie Pascoe
Mrs Willis the owner, lives next door to Tresco and her ten acre butterfly and wildlife gardens that have been created over 40 years and have appeared nationally from time to time. She has recently purchased Tresco and updated it to a high standard with the help of a friend who is a professional interior and furnishing designer.
Why they chose this property
Tresco came on the market and my South African family and I fell in love with it immediately because of the warm feeling the house emits , and is now their holiday home too, so the house is not just a holiday home but a much loved family house also
What makes this property unique
Bird reserve, views of Thorpeness house in the clouds , sea views and a peace not found elsewhere in Aldeburgh, yet only a five minute drive to the heart of this lovely town with all its history. The house stands in large gardens and is set in a quiet positon well back from the Aldeburgh to Leiston Road.
