THREE QUEEN BED, LRG BACKYARD, AWESOME FRONT PORCH! ONE BLK TO STREET CAR

Beautiful home in a great location, right next to St Charles Avenue and the St Charles Street car is one block away and is 1.25 per person! Just steps from Commander's Palace. Right on the Mardi Gras Parade route. Beautiful, beautiful large fenced backyard and super cool front porch with gorgeous detailed iron work gate. High ceilings, hardwood floors, pocket doors, remodeled kitchen, bath, and laundry room. It has a front porch and plenty of street parking. Real New Orleans style living in a classic Greek Revival. Central air conditioning and central heat--there is a ceiling fan in every room. Pocket doors separate two parlors, transom windows and high ceilings and beautiful hardwood floors and wall moldings, fireplaces. Brand new paint job on the entire exterior. . There is Garden District security included as well as fridge, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher, bathroom has a clawfoot tub/shower The third bedroom is in a private parlor which can also be the dining room. Pets ok with a fee, contact me first at affordableproducts4u.com for my number.

House Rules

Please respect my home and neighborhood is all I ask. No parties at the house please. There's plenty to do in New Orleans if you want to party. If you have a problem, please give me a call.

Please read my house rules when you arrive. Use the rod for opening and closing the curtains PLEASE!!!!!!

There's one parking spot on street in front of the home or across the street has many spots. Please don't park in front of the neighbors homes, they don't like that.

Also do not do laundry before 9am or after 9pm if you desire to do laundry.

House quiet hours are posted on the front and back doors, please abide by them as you are the only ones on vacation, the neighbors still have to work in the morning, PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL!!!

I live in Manhattan Beach, CA and travel to NOLA frequently. We own this duplex and our daughter lives on the other side. She and I can help with questions or concerns. I do ask that you respect our neighbors and not to park in front of the neighbor's homes. There is a space in front of our home or on the other side of the street. Thanks for your respect of our 1860 home that was built when Abraham LIncoln was President. It's survived many a storm as it's very well built!

Perfect for our girl's trip!

The house is well appointed and charming for sure and conveniently located to the St. Charles streetcar stop and a short walk to Magazine St. It was our firsts time staying in the Garden District and it was delightful. Liz is a great host and easy to communicate with.

Great Location and Amazing Hosts!

I have been to New Orleans many, many times and was absolutely thrilled with this home. It was in an ideal location, close to streetcar, Uber/Lyft were plentiful and it's walking distance to Magazine St. It's super comfortable and roomy enough for 4 women. The owners were staying in the other unit during our stay and we loved spending time with them on the front porch and in the lovely back yard. The house dog Ruffins was a bonus! We all love dogs so we welcomed him at all times, in fact we begged for him to visit us! The house is quiet, comfortable and has everything you could need - soaps, shampoos, cooking items, towels, umbrellas, etc! They have thought of everything. We even met the neighbors who were very friendly. It was such a lovely stay! When I return to NOLA, I will happily stay here again.

The “shotgun” style home was well equipped and comfortable. The location was great!

The property owner, Liz, was a great communicator and attentive and accommodating. The house has a lovely backyard with lights to sit under at night!! Easy to get to Audubon zoo, downtown to French quarter and walking distance to a grocery store, bakery and restaurants. The hardwood floors were shiny and quiet to walk on and the decor was unique and festive! Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay for St Patrick’s Day!

Property was comfortable and walking distance to Magazine St. and cemeteries. It was more spacious than pictured and the owner was easy to work with. Parking was also surprisingly easy.

The French Quarter is two miles away on the street car which is one block away. Mercedes Benz Superdome is 2 miles away and Harrahs Casino is 2 miles away and Magazine Street is 6 blocks away. Historic St Charles Street is one block away. Lots of public transportation so you really don't need a car. The best restaurants in America are in New Orleans. Eat, Drink and Be Merry!
