About Jeff and Kathy Davies

Hi we are Jeff and Kathy Davies, welcome to our Gatlinburg Getaway. This is our second Cabin in Gatlinburg. Our first property VRBO # 479534 is located in Cobbly Nob area of Gatlinburg. We live in Indiana near Lafayette. We first came to the area 10 years ago and fell in love with the community and it's people. Kathy grew up on both the East and West coast and I am a born and bred Hoosier. We both enjoy Football ( Go Colts and Boilermakers) Kathy is an avid reader and myself, give me a little water and a fishing pole. We are both looking forward to retirement in a few years and will be moving to Gatlinburg for our Golden Years.

Jeff and Kathy Davies purchased this cabin in 2014

Why Jeff and Kathy Davies chose Gatlinburg

We love the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts community! This property is in town but yet not on a main road. We are located 0.3 miles from Glades rd. We wanted a cabin for the couple looking for an in town adventure with easy access to all the area has to offer. This cabin has easy access to the Trolly stop a short walk back to Glades Rd. The Trolly systems allow for a convient way to see the area, get off shop or dine and catch the next stop and continue your journey.

What makes this cabin unique

This is a true couples retreat. Perfect for 2 people to get away and enjoy each other! Relax and enjoy the Hot Tub located on the private back patio. Grill a couple of steaks and enjoy your favorite beverage. Relax!

Relaxing vacation

  • 5 of 5

We felt at home from the moment we walked in the cabin! Very clean, everything we needed was there and the bed slept better then our new one at home! We spent most of our 3 night stay in the cabin, it was raining and we didn't care if we went out or not. We enjoyed sitting in the recliners and watching football, they were very comfortable. We went out to eat each day and came right back. I would recommend this to any couple that just want to get away from their busy life and relax! We are going to make this a tradition and look forward to staying again.

Perfect place for a weekend getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Very nice and well kept cabin! Location was great, just far enough away from town but close enough to go shopping and explore! We enjoyed being able to bring our fur baby along with us. Another plus was the private hot tub! We have been visiting Gatlinburg for years and would highly recommend this cabin!

Everything we needed in a convenient location

  • 5 of 5

We were in town this past weekend for a wedding. Cabin was very clean upon check in and more spacious than expected. Location was perfect for us, as the wedding chapel was only a couple miles away. The kitchen was adequately stocked and the washer/dryer came in handy as well. We would definitely stay here again in the future. Highly recommended!

Car: recommended

Nestled in the Heart of the Arts and Crafts Community. The Cabin is within walking distance to the Trolly, making travel easier for the first time visitor to the area.

We are on the quiet side of Gatlinburg. Close to all area attractions including shopping and dining. Our 3 favorite places to dine are 5 minutes or less from the Cabin. 3 Jimmy's has a great lunch and dinner menu. Mountain Lodge Restaurant has the est breakfast in town. The Alamo by far has the best steaks around.

The entrance to the National Park is less than a 10 minute drive.

Pigeon Forge is another great location for dining and shopping. It is a 15 minute drive from the Cabin or just take the Trolly.

We are always available for any questions about area attractions and information.
