Good location

  • 2 of 5

The location is good as it is in town of Telluride, however, it is a very small apartment. The queen sleepers mattress is super thin so be ready for back pain! specially after skiing when you need to get a good night sleep. Apartment was very clean and well stocked up. Didn't have humidifier so first night was oppressing with the heat and in a small place. The lodging company were very attentive and brought us a new humidifier. After that it got better. I don't recommend it for 4 people. 2 max.

Perfect Location!

  • 5 of 5

We came to Telluride for a baseball tournament and the location was ideal for us. The condo is located at the back entrance of the park. The condo provided all that we needed and more! It is perfect for 2 people and the parking is also ideal, as Telluride is a difficult place to find a parking spot. The condo is walking distance to the town and free gondola up to mountain village. I would definitely stay at this place again!

Great location, nice condo, well-stocked kitchen

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time here. The condo was well-decorated and well-appointed. Among the pros: excellent location (mere feet from the river trail), well-stocked kitchen, nice shower and a beautiful view from the patio. Random pros that we appreciated: lots of hangers and hooks, lots of power outlets, a Keurig coffeemaker, and extra blankets. The cons: it was a little cramped for 4 people (which was a budgetary decision on our part). Pillows in master bedroom were uncomfortable. Not much storage for our kids sleeping on the sofa bed (all sofa beds are uncomfortable and this one was no exception), and we couldn't find a way to control the air conditioner. Fortunately, it got cool enough to not be a big deal, but it would have been nice to be able to jack up the a/c a bit on the warm days. One thing visitors should know: they don't provide conditioner among the toiletries, so if you need conditioner, bring it with you. One other possible con (that wasn't an issue for our visit but might be at other times): the condo is quite close to the city park, and I think there are lots of events there that could be loud. So if you're looking for quiet, make sure there's not a big festival while you're in town before booking here. All in all, we'd book this again, particularly if it were just my husband and me. The price was right and it was quite nice (although we'd bring our own pillows).

Owner's Response: Thank you for the great review of Muscatel Flats #08. The owner does take good care of this property but it is nice to know there a few things that could use improvement. There is no air conditioning in this property and there are actually very few properties that have a/c in Telluride. We will let the owner know about your recommendations with the pillows and sofa bed. It does get loud for festivals but you can hear the music from the condo if you are a festival goer but prefer not to be in the crowds as much. We hope you will come again.

Great Location

  • 3 of 5

I stayed in this condo with my husband and two year old son. The location is great - right next to town park with a playground, public swimming pool (not open yet while we were there), and right in town so you can walk everywhere. The view from the living room window is amazing. The actual condo is cute, but the longer we were there we noticed that is wasn't cleaned well, and there was a lot of "junk" tucked away all over the unit. The bed and couch were uncomfortable and we couldnt lock the front door from the inside, which is important if you have a curious two year old.

Owner's Response: We appreciate your nice and informative review of Muscatel Flats #08. It is a great location next to the park and the town pool was finished and is a great addition to the public amenities of Town Park. We will improve upon the cleanliness of the condo and let the owner know about the things that have been left out. We look forward to seeing you again.
