This house is located five minutes from the center of the village where you will find two bakeries, a butcher, a charcuterie, a bar, a pizzeria, a Corsican restaurant and even a recently inaugurated ecomuseum. You can also enjoy water sports at the river which is very close as well as the cascade of the English, the tree climbing and beautiful hikes in the forest of Vizzavona which is about 8km. In addition, you can park easily in the property of the house.

Leider nicht wie erhofft
Vorwegnehmend: Madame M. ist sehr freundlich. Einige Ärgernisse: Wir waren am Anreisetag um 13 Uhr am Haus, mussten uns aber, entgegen der Info auf FeWo, bis 18 Uhr warten, bis die Wohnung bezugsfertig war. Grill am Balkon war kaputt, Toaster auch. Durften Grill im Garten benutzen, war aber eher lästig wegen hin und her ... Haus und Einrichtung sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles in allem war das überhaupt kein Problem; viel Platz. Schlimm war der Lärm der Bundesstraße (100m) und auch auf der kleinen Zufahrtsstraße direkt vor dem Haus. Dort wird leider gerade privat ein Haus gebaut, und das bevorzugt samstags und sonntags, bzw. abends - ohne Rücksicht auf Verluste - d.h. mitunter: Betonmischmaschine am Sonntag ab 8.30 (...), kein Spaß, da auf dem Balkon zu frühstücken. Aber dafür können natürlich die Vermieter nichts. Da wir keine A/C-Freunde sind und gerne die Fenster und Türen offen haben, war der Lärm für uns - besonders nachts - echt ein Problem; es fühlte sich bei jedem LKW und Motorrad gerade so an, als führen sie direkt durch unser Wohnzimmer. Was uns (als Nicht-Katzenliebhaber) außerdem gestört hat, war der allgegenwärtige Geruch nach Katzenpipi, besonders im Treppenhaus, aber auch z.T. einfach so in der Luft liegend. Die Nähe zum Ort (zu Fuß 10 Min.) , zum Fluss (15 Min.) mit den vielen Gumpen, aber auch mit dem Auto zu den Ausgangsorten für viele Wanderungen usw. war sehr praktisch. Direkten Blick auf die Berge hat man nur durch ein WoZi-Fenster.

Gite tres agreable
Gite est parfait pour une famille, les chambres sont tres spacieuses et tres claires et deux donnent sur un grand balcon. La salle a manger/salon est tres agreable et a une vue imprenable sur les montagnes. L'appartement est au calme complet entoure des montagnes!! La proprietaire est d'une extreme gentillesse et est toujours disponible. Le village de Bocognano a 2mns est tres plaisant avec sa boulangerie, ses restaurants, son bar et autres petits commerces ainsi que son office du tourisme et son beau musee.
