‘Anniversary’ Cottage

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Dover Cottage to celebrate the anniversary of when we first met 30 years ago, and had a wonderful stay. This year we returned to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary. We kicked off our shoes and it was liked we had returned Home. In the 18 months since our first visit, the property has been well maintained and it has had quite a few updates making our stay this time even more pleasurable.

We had already had 4 exciting days in New York so we wanted to chill at the Cottage and the beach this time, however we did manage to attend a matinee performance of Leading Ladies at The Gulfshore Playhouse and take a wonderful sunset cruise organised by Sweet Liberty Catamaran Sailing both were very enjoyable.(We pre booked both online months earlier)

After our last evening meal we were walking back to the Cottage and as we reached Broad Ave The Naples Christmas Parade had just began, it was excellent there were 5 marching bands, many floats and ended with a wave from Santa Claus, we couldn’t have planned a better end to our visit.

Dover Cottage is a charming stylish property which feels more like a cherished and much loved home, rather than a holiday rental.....we love it.

Thank you to Greg the owner who handled everything in a professional and helpful manner.

Dover Cottage was a lovely family weekend house!

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was lovely and perfect for my husband and I to stay in Naples for the weekend with my parents from Miami. The house was cute, clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. My only suggestion would be to replace the 2 twin beds in the second bedroom with a queen bed so 2 couples can stay more comfortably. The beach was a short walk away near the beautiful Naples Pier (don't miss the sunsets there!). Also a short walk away were 2 shopping and restaurant areas on 3rd St. & 5th Ave. I'd definitely return if I'm ever in the area again!
