We live in Calgary, AB where we lead busy lives with 3 children and a hamster. We are avid runners and skiers. We enjoy skiing as a family and our kids also ski every weekend in the Team Panorama ski race program.

Why Jennifer Spencer chose Panorama

We purchased Lone Wolf Chalet because of it's amazing views of Greywolf golf course and the mountains. Every time we come to Panorama we enjoy sitting on the deck or in the hot tub and taking in the view. We love to be out in the mountains in the winter to ski and in the summer we hike, bike and enjoy the local beaches in Invermere. We enjoy sharing our home with guests and take great pride in offering outstanding accommodation and service to those that choose to stay with us in Panorama, BC.

What makes this house unique

We fell in love with the beautiful views of the mountains and Greywolf golf course. We are thrilled to be able to access the great skiing right out our door!

Notes:
We have the best location in Panorama! Our home is located in a quiet complex in Panorama Mountain Resort with many owner-occupied homes. We are situated next to the Greywolf Golf Course backing right on to the 9th green and are ski in/ski-out to the Sunbird Chair. Greywolf's Cliffhanger restaurant, is a 1 minute walk offering fine dining (including a kids menu), great ambiance and course views. Panorama Village is a short drive or 15 minute walk allowing you to access additional restaurants, spa, sports store and the child care. All guests have free, unlimited access to the Hot Pools and Waterpark (summer). The town of Invermere is only a 20 minute drive from the home which in the summer is a great family beach destination with Lake Windermere. Panorama Mountain offers lots of family activities including skiing, mountain biking, hiking, golf, mini golf, tennis and basketball courts. And in the summer, Panorama Mountain also offers great kids summer camps and the Fun Zone.

Even more magical than we could dream!

We stayed in this property for 10 nights over the Christmas 2017 period.

From the initial booking process until we arrived back home in the UK, the owner could not be more helpful and accommodating. Before arriving, she provided useful tips and information to make the most out of our stay.

The house itself is very spacious and beautifully decorated. It is spotlessly clean and has everything you need- a fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, hot tub, plenty of towels. There is also a stock of board games which was fun for the evenings. I must add that the beds and pillows are so comfortable you may not want to get out of them in the morning!

The location is also great- a stone’s through away from the Cliffhanger Restaurant (which is also highly recommended) and the sunshine chairlift and a 2 minute drive from the Panorama Village.

The resort itself is fantastic- a number of eateries, a bar, hot springs swimming pool and plenty of activities aside from skiing. Our children did ski school and all of the teachers were welcoming and really fun! All of the staff across the resort were very pleasant and friendly.

The owner recommended to pick up a grocery shop in Calgary which was a great tip - we used the Real Canadian Store in Huntington which is on route from Calgary airport.

There is nothing to fault in either this property or the ski resort itself and we hope to get back here in the future.

Enjoyed our stay here for the long weekend and would have loved to stay longer!

We could not have asked for better accommodations! The property is wonderfully maintained, clean and stocked with everything we could possibly need!

We spent lots of time on the deck enjoying the sun and the beautiful scenery! The hot tub was clean and well maintained which made it a perfect way to end a day of golfing, hiking and playing with our kids!

Jennifer was so great to work with! She was prompt at responding to any questions and provided lots of information prior to our trip and while we were there!

I would love to return here during any season and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to go to Panarama!

Nice quiet place. Perfect location. Clean, spacious and had up to date appliances.

Close to the chair lift for a perfect ski in ski out holiday. The home was beautiful with lots of space for all of us. Far enough from the village to be quiet and pieceful but close enough to head in for pizza or a few groceries if needed. Furniture and appliances were all high quality and well kept. Would definitely come back again.

Lone Wolf - a Great Chalet with outstanding owner support

I stayed with a few friends at the Lone Wolf for a week in March of 2017. Jennifer's Chalet is beautiful and conveniently located a short ski from the Sunbird Chair Lift. At the same time it is a remarkably peaceful and quiet location.

The kitchen is the most well equipped and organized of any vacation rental property I have ever stayed in. There are outdoor and indoor dishes and glasses, dishes for kids and every utensil and cooking aid you could possibly want. The appliances are top notch. Jennifer has labeled all the drawers and cupboards so you can find things and know where to return them. We ditched our plans to eat out for a few meals and had every meal including lunch (thanks to lift proximity) at Lone Wolf.

The four upstairs bedrooms are spacious and well organized. The two complete bathrooms had high quality fixtures and lots of thirsty towels!

The outdoor hot tub was wonderful and we used it every evening. Even though the chalet is close to Panorama's main village the night sky was full of beautiful stars with almost no light pollution.

Lone Wolf has a good sound system which is easy to connect to your computer or smart phones. We discovered great new music using it. Of course Netflix is available for movie watching.

The client support that Jennifer provided was simply outstanding. The communications prior to arrival was great. The information binder that Jennifer provides is well organized and informative. I really appreciated the easy to follow check-out list. There were numerous Panorama ski trail maps provided. When I had questions, Jennifer responded very promptly. I felt that Jennifer was personally invested in making sure that we enjoyed our stay at Lone Wolf; that made the experience even better.

I would highly recommend Lone Wolf Chalet to any group visiting Panorama.

2016 - Best Pano Christmas Ever!

Our family of 6 (mid sixties grandparents, late thirties parents and 5 and 3 year old children) just spent two fabulous Christmas weeks at Lone Wolf. The condo was even better than advertised; we wanted for nothing. Jennifer had put up a lovely Christmas tree and set the mood for our holiday. We cooked Christmas turkey dinner for 10 (ourselves and 4 guests) with ease; Jennifer's kitchen is fully equipped; the appliances high end. The snow arrived a couple of days after we did, so while the kids were in Wee Wascals and ski lessons the rest of us were on the slopes. Some of us even progressed to snowboarding. Snow conditions just got better as the two weeks went on. It was great to come home to our warm, welcoming condo, have a soak in the hot tub, cook our evening meal and sink into deliciously comfortable beds. Kimberleyrae Sanderson of Invermere followed us around the Nordic trail, just outside the condo's door, to take stunning family photos with the local mountains as the backdrop. Wow!

We prefer to cook our own meals, but did take in a couple of local places. Cliffhanger restaurant, literally just steps away from our condo, is a great place with fabulous food and great service. Choppers Landing was our second stop, a little more casual, but equally great food and service. We made lunches for the kids to take to Wee Wascals and packed them in the zip lock bags from Jennifer's well stocked kitchen. From the ski racks in the garage, to the roomy front entrance, through the extremely functional kitchen, to the roomy dining and living room area to the large bedrooms upstairs, we found this condo suited our needs exactly and contributed immensely to what our family is describing as the Best Pano Christmas Ever! Thanks Jennifer for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful Mountain Escape

Lone Wolf was a perfect location in a beautiful place. We were there in August for one week, and I certainly could have stayed longer. Panorama has so much to offer in the summer.

The home was wonderful, and Jennifer was very helpful with all of the information provided. The beds are very comfortable, and everything from the appliances to the towels are high end. The home accommodated nine of us very comfortably. Watching the golfers come in whilst in the hot tub was just a bonus.

I would absolutely recommend this vacation home.
