Note from the Owners: Welcome to our Breckenridge cabin. We purchased this home to provide a family friendly atmosphere in the mountains for our kids, to entertain family, and to enjoy skiing, biking, fishing, and everything the area has to offer. It is our second home and we love the views, and the feeling of being away from town on an acre of land with room for kids to run around. We also love that town is only 8 minutes away, and that we can be on the slopes in 10 minutes. Having two children of our own, living in a kid friendly home and environment is important to us. As a family, we love walking, fishing, skiing, jeeping, mountain biking, and exploring the area. One of our most favorite activities is going about a mile up the road to Blue Lakes and seeing the White Mountain Goats near the beautiful waterfalls. And, best of all. We are very close to highway 9, and its very convenient to get to Breckenridge. It takes between 8 – 10 minutes to get to town. It’s a straight shot, with no turns and very easy. You also do not need to worry about needing a 4 wheel drive vehicle. We are just one block off Hwy 9, so we always have easy access. We are excited to have you as our guests and hope that you and your family enjoy our home as much as we do.

About PMBO

Matt & Hunter - we live in the Denver, Colorado area and come to Breckenridge as often as we can to enjoy our mountains!

Why PMBO chose Breckenridge

Welcome to our Breckenridge cabin. We purchased this home to provide a family friendly atmosphere in the mountains for our kids, to entertain family, and to enjoy skiing, biking, fishing, and everything the Breckenridge area has to offer.

Its our second home and we love the views, and the feeling of being away from town on an acre of land with room for kids to run around. We also love that town is only 8 minutes away, and that we can be on the slopes in 10 minutes.

Guestbook comments from the manager

The house was fantastic - very accurately depicted in the pictures (if anything it felt a bit bigger inside). Roomy, clean, and enjoyed using the fireplace. There were plenty of nice-to-have amenities (extra soap, towels, etc.) - so the house had the feel of a high-end hotel (not necessarily the case with all stays). The view from the backyard is pretty killer too. Having a heated garage was very convenient given the cold outside.

Patty (our main contact) was fantastic about communication - prompt, clear, and comprehensive. Only caveat for folks is the relative distance to Breck proper - about a 10 minute drive / $40 cab ride. Highly recommended for groups!

Note per owner: Guest told us he had a 5 STAR stay! THANK YOU, Jin! We'd welcome you and your group back anytime!

Nice and relaxing mountain home

This is a very nice and comfortable home about 10 minutes from Breckenridge. Great location and beautiful views. We were looking for something just to chill and relax in and this was a great place to do that.

Perfect Summer Weekend in Colorado!

  • 5 of 5

We came up to escape the heat in Denver and give our niece who was visiting CO from back east a little mountain "experience". This cabin was perfection from it's amenities to it's decor. The kiddos loved the zip line, tree house and hot tub. The bedrooms are good sized and the full kitchen was stocked with all of the necessities that made it perfectly homey. Super easy access to Breckenridge. We loved it. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us!

This cabin has it all!

  • 5 of 5

We came in from Chicago for a 5 day ski trip with our two kids (9 and 7) and had a wonderful experience at this ski cabin. It's a short drive to Breckenridge and all of the restaurants and action on main street. We had everything we needed for a comfortable week. Each day we skied and enjoyed good times in Breck and then spent the afternoon or evening at the house. Having a full kitchen and washer and dryer really helped keep our trip within budget. The cabin is quiet and stocked with DVDs and everything else you need to feel at home. I can't say enough good things! We had a great time in Colorado and having a nice place to stay made it even more fun and relaxing.

Made for a Perfect Stay in Breckenridge

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin in Feb 2016! Family of 5, with 3 teenagers. Everyone had their own space. The cabin was clean, well stocked and nicely decorated. We all enjoyed the hot-tub and the fireplace. Garage was super convenient (don't have one at home). The living space was very comfortable.

Location was great, easy access to Breckenridge! We loved being in a quiet area and to have a whole house to retreat to after skiing. Even made the short ride to the Continental Divide.

Owners were great to communicate with - all arrangements were easy.

Perfect escape away from town

  • 5 of 5

We had a great week long stay in March 2016 in this cozy cabin about 10-15 minutes south of Breckenridge. It worked great for our ski vacation as we wanted to be out of the busy town of Breckenridge during the week of college spring break. The location worked out great as it is just off the main road (Colorado Highway 9) making for easy travel to Breck or other ski areas (we also did Copper and Arapahoe Basin). Even on snow covered roads the trip back and forth to town was scenic and easy (my wife even spotted a moose one day!) - just take your time and no issues!

The home is wonderfully decorated and was just the right size for us (2 older teens and 3 adults). The home is very clean and everything was well maintained - no issues there. There are board games galore if you want to just hang around and relax and rest mountain weary legs. There is also a very nice hot tub with great views of the surrounding peaks. Sitting outside in the hot tub as it snowed (we had 36" the week we were there) was a fantastic way to end each day.

The property also has a heated garage which just fit our rented Suburban and it was nice not to get up every morning and not have to clear off the vehicle in such a snowy week. The driveway was also plowed each day and maintained well given the high snow volume. We basically only ended up having to keep the hot tub and the path to it clear - no big deal.

We would definitely stay here again. Great property, friendly owners and a nice out of the way location (but not too out of the way). Top Marks.

Family getaway with amazing views but close enough to mountain fun!

  • 5 of 5

Our family had the pleasure of enjoying this home away from home. We especially loved jumping in the hot tub and admiring the moon over the mountains after a long day of skiing. You would think this little oasis is out a long ways but it takes only minutes to get into Breckenridge to enjoy the busy life. The last morning there we took a walk/snowshoe straight out of the house. Our entire family can't wait to relax again in this home and will recommend it to anyone looking to get away.
