About this property

Quiet neighborhood Located On The Border Of Carlsbad & Oceanside, Walk to Beach

Adorable bungalow located close to all! The kitchen has nice white cabinetry with granite counter tops. Bathroom has tub, tile surround and tile flooring. Bedrooms have cozy mattresses on the beds for a good nights sleep. 2 queen size beds and a pull out sofa allows for up to 5 guests. Wood flooring through out the house and modern furnishings for that clean look. We have free WiFi should you feel the need to check your email or need to catch up on work while here.

The backyard is spacious and equipped with a BBQ grill, firepit and dining set for 6 so you can enjoy our beautiful Southern California weather year round. There are seasonal fruit trees, a vegetable garden with herbs for your convenience. The backyard is a great place to relax with a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. 2 cool hammock lounges for an afternoon nap or just soaking up the sun.

We have 4 adult beach cruisers a childs bike (we do not provide helmets and it is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to ride without a helmet so please bring one if needed), a wagon, beach chairs and sand toys in the garage for your use.

Our home is located on a quiet neighborhood street and is walkable to beaches, coffee shops, markets, restaurants and nightlife or feel free to take the beach bikes in the garage to Carlsbad Village for shopping and more beaches and restaurants. Oceanside Pier is only 2 miles away. Take a sunset walk down the long wooden pier to see the fishermen pulling in the nights catch. There is a playground on the sand by the pier for vacationing children and lots of fun things to do. The choices are endless when staying at this wonderful home. It was our second vacation at Debbie's property and like our first time,communication with Debbie is excellent.The house is very well taken care of,inside and outside.The backyard is private,comfortable and quiet.The location for us is perfect,close to the beach,the highway(101 and I-5)and downtown Oceanside and Carlsbad.There is a grocery store nearby with a great selection of fresh coffee beans.It is very peaceful neighborhood and the neighbour's are friendly.We hope to be back soon. steve and noriah Vancouver,Canada

What a great house and awesome location. Loved the surfer vibe of the house. The beds were comfortable and the backyard was really nice and chill. They also included surfboards and other beach accessories. Would defiantly stay again.

John is a native San Diegan and has spent the majority of his life in North County. Debbie grew up in Phoenix and has been fortunate call North County home for the past 40 yrs. We have raised 2 children here and absolutely love where we live and look forward to sharing our knowledge of the area with anyone needing information or suggestions. We enjoy going to the beach whenever possible, hiking, and skiing in the local mountains during the winter.

Why they chose this property

When we saw this house for sale we immediately knew we had to own it. We absolutely loved it and used it as a long term rental for many years. The architecture is unique and the location is superb so we decided we wanted to share this love for our home with visitors!

What makes this property unique

One of the things we loved about this home, besides its architectural lines, was the fact that the home is on one street and the detached garage is located on the next street over so the house is accessible from 2 different streets and has plenty of parking.
Our home was built in 1939 and is one of the few remaining historic modern streamline homes in Oceanside.
