Taos is extraordinary. Our one-story adobe-style townhome will help you enjoy this unique town. The home is 1775 sq/ft with traditional saltillo tile, viga ceilings, and kiva fireplaces. Relax for a few moments in the front patio -- you will hear historic church bells chime and see the sky and light unique to northern New Mexico. When inspired to explore, you will be two blocks from the Plaza, several art museums, the John Dunn shops, fine restaurants, historic churches, art galleries, live music, coffee houses, cultural events and independent movies. Two blocks in the other direction, you will find open space with cows in pasture, horses, and prairie-dog fields.

The home sleeps 6 comfortably, with full bathrooms off each bedroom and a half-bath adjacent to the living area. The master bedroom is huge and includes a relaxing sitting/reading area. There is a large enclosed front patio and a private backyard with a hot tub. The house is in pristine condition with quality furniture and original art. The gourmet kitchen has everything you need: stainless steel oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, etc. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer if you are here for a longer stay. Linens and towels are provided.

Why Lisa and Michael chose Taos

Generational Taosenas, Native Americans and Nortenos, trace their family history and culture in the community for hundreds of years or longer. Others become part of the Taos story due to a broken wagon wheel, a word from a friend, or an unexpected moment that captures a unique light or a flowing landscape.

My wife is an artist and is married to me which means she is not always entirely "understood." Her Taos story began one cold January day our boys and I went off to snowboard, leaving her alone a few blocks from town. When we rolled back in at the end of our own great day, she was utterly radiant and full of warmth and joy. Turned out she'd bundled-up to brave the cold and been to just about every art gallery in town. Every gallery owner she encountered was generous with their time and energy, talking with her enthusiastically about life in Taos, where culture matters and creativity is essential, a natural part of the human experience.

For some, becoming a Taosena occurs slowly over four or eight hundred years, and that is beautiful. For others, becoming a Taosena can happen in a single day, and that too is beautiful. We hope you will find a Taos adventure unique to your own story.

What makes this house unique

The BEST LOCATION in Taos! So close to everything in town, but the home is tucked back away from the street. It is quiet and peaceful with plenty of privacy and parking.

Great Stay in Taos

The property was great. Easy walk to shops, restaurants, galleries and museums. 30 minute drive to Taos ski valley. The kitchen was well equipped and we grilled a few times. Loved having our own private hot tub. Very comfortable furnishings. Master bedroom was beautiful.

Great for our family

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. Kids loved the games, puzzles, outside space, and the hot tub. Home is spacious, comfortable, and in a good location. Would recommend.

Wonderful Stay!

What a beautiful place! Great location, quiet and comfortable. The Master Suite was an oasis. Love the layout and decor. Beds were very comfortable. The outdoor areas were lovely as well and we wished we had just taken an evening to enjoy the hot tub and outdoor fireplace, but we were just too tired every night from our adventures! The Property Manager was very easy to work with and took the time to recommend some wonderful restaurants and hikes for us! Our favorite was Antonios for sure!
