A fabulously decorated and designed farmhouse perfect for family R & R
We really enjoyed our stay at Le Genebre, with a kitchen dining space that is beautifully designed and appointed. It’s modern look works well alongside the historical charm of the original buildings. The beds are very comfortable and there are large Dyson fans in three of the rooms for warmer nights. The kitchen is filled with all mod cons and there are loads of places to sit outside in the evening. Surrounded by forest, there is a gorgeous pool and pretty courtyard between the main house and the annexe bedroom. The location feels completely secluded but you are not far from Le Bugue where there was a great market. Perfect for exploring Perigord, from Sarlat to Lascaux. The friendly, helpful owner was quick to deal with any queries we had. One thing to note is the 4th bedroom is a bunk style room, with stairs that are not suitable for very elderly or for very young guests. However this room would be perfect for groups with teenagers or older kids. Overall, a very beautiful holiday home which we will return to. Would highly recommend!

Very “Durrelly”
Most beautiful pair of cottages, lots of space and well set up. The fabulous lime tree was a God-send for an afternoon snooze. Nicely hidden away but 10 minutes to a good selection of restaurants. Will definitely be back if you’ll have us 💚

Juste MAGNIFIQUE !!!
Un havre de paix, pour se ressourcer loin du tumulte de la région parisienne. Tout y est, l'équipement de la maison (rien ne manque avec tout le confort), la piscine, le calme. La proximité des commerces,... et des bons restaurants... (Le Bugue, Sarlat...)!! De plus nous avons bénéficié d'une très belle arrière saison chaude, et on a pu profiter du beau jardin, pour la bronzette et le barbecue. Merci aux propriétaires de proposer une telle qualité de prestations. Je recommande vivement ce lieu pour ceux qui recherchent la tranquillité, les balades aux alentours et les bons restaurants.
