Oceanfront 1 bedroom+, 1 bathroom with stunning ocean and mountain views.

Welcome to the condo I refer to as my little piece of paradise! If you're looking for a convenient, comfortable quiet place to spend your time on Maui, this is the condo for you. The unit is a short 15-20 minute ride from the Kahalui airport and is centrally located and easily accessible from Kahalui, Wailuku, Kihei and Lahaina. The Maalaea resort area is adjacent to Maalaea Harbor, a small harbor and shopping area from which depart some of the best sailing and whale watching cruises in the world. Watch the boats come and go, the surfers riding the 'Freight Train', one of the world's fastest rideable waves, the sea turtles feeding and, during whale season (November - April), watch the playful antics of the majestic humpback whales, all from the privacy of your lanai. Combine all of this with the beautifully manicured tropical grounds, oceanfront pool and shared gas grills with outdoor dining areas and you will look forward to coming 'home' after a day of seeing all that Maui has to offer.

From the moment you enter the unit, you will be drawn to the spectacular view of the ocean and harbor from the living area and lanai. You're so close to the ocean that you can hear the surf all day and night, even back in the bedroom. Once you're done taking in the views, take a moment to peruse the place you'll call home for the next few days: the California king bed and custom closet in the master bedroom, the newly outfitted bathroom, the fully-equipped kitchen with views of the ocean and breakfast bar dining, the living area with a queen sofa sleeper and dining table and the lanai where, if you're anything like me, you will spend most of your time! When that Maui heat just gets to be too much, come in from the lanai and turn on the air-conditioner in the living room; the view is almost as good inside!

Within walking distance of the condo are some fine restaurants: Beach Bums bar and Grill and Seascape Restaurant. There are also two darling little grocery stores/delis when you just need something quick and don't want to get in the car to run to the store. The Maui Ocean Center, a top-rated attraction in Hawaii (Zagat Survey's U.S. Family Travel Guide) is within walking distance too, as well as Maui Golf & Sports Park, with miniature golfing, rock climbing, bumper boats and extreme trampoline jumping. Additionally, a short walk down the road is Haycraft Park and the head of Sugar Beach, the longest continuous beach on the island, stretching from Maalaea to Kihei and a nice, quiet area with calm water. There's great snorkeling in this area due to the coral reefs located close to shore. And turtles everywhere, all year long.

I live in St. Louis and try to get to Maui as often as possible. I hate to say it, but I've been coming to Maui for almost 40 years and it really is my second home. With one child in college and another not far behind, I look forward to the time when I can become a Maui snowbird and enjoy the wonderful island life for as long as possible.

Why Teri Ram chose Wailuku

When I was in high school (a long, long time ago), my parents purchased a house in Kihei, so I spent a number of vacations on this beautiful island. My parents retired to that house in the '90s and began investing in real estate shortly thereafter. This is one of the investment properties I inherited and it's come to be my secret 'favorite'. I can virtually guarantee that you won't find any property closer to the ocean than this one. Property is not even allowed to be built this close to the water anymore! The unobstructed view of the water is unparalleled.

Owner's Response: Barry: Thank you so much for taking the time to review my property. I agree with you about the screen door; in fact to the point that I replace and/or repair it every six months! As I've been repeatedly told, when I'm that close to the water, the salt and spray just eat through the metal so other than removing it there's not much I can do. Great vacation

We had a great time. The condo is centrally located so everyting is convenient. Pacific Whale Foundation boats sail out of the harbor within walking distance of the unit. Unit was clean and well kept.

Great place!

My husband and I were on our first trip to Hawaii and loved staying here! We spent all of our time on the lanai with its great view. The sea turtles were plentiful and simply amazing. The condo is very well supplied and we appreciated having a dedicated parking spot. The location on the island is perfect for getting around. I highly recommend this place!

Great location with all the comforts of home. Great view from lanai

We loved this condo! We saw turtles every day from lanai as well as watching the boats from harbor and fisherman on the jetty. We loved the breeze and never needed the air conditioner. It’s central location made it easy to visit other parts of the island while being able to walk to harbor which offers a wide variety of excursions.

Perfect Condo & Location

We celebrated our 20th Anniversary and we couldn't of asked for anything better. The condo was super clean, well equipped, and simply beautiful. We spent most of our time on the balcony overlooking the ocean. The property is super quiet and just a great place to relax and unwind. And it's in a great location in between Lahaina, Kahului, and Kihei. We will certainly be back. Thanks Teri for making our vacation absolutely perfect!

Nice, clean condo with all accessories including towels, beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie board. Great central location with easy access to Kihei, Lahaina, Kahului and Wailuku. Waterfront and harbour view from lanai is spectacular. Enjoyed our stay here very much.
