Value isn't there
The hosts were awesome and very helpful. The cabin stayed warm but could use a major update and some repairs.

Mountain Get-Away
Big kids and grandlittles stayed in main cabin. It was homebase for all meals and gatherings. Beautiful setting and house. Hottub was the perfect compliment to cool evenings. Care-takers, Tom and Heidi, were friendly and responsive. No real issues to mention. Wish the motion lights and other outdoor lighting worked better. We were a little nervous outside once it became very dark. It was awesome and scary to hear animals.

A little of Heaven...
The check in was a little bumpy but was taken of immediately. This little peace of Heaven was accommodating and was suited to our needs. John and Anh were so friendly, informative, and helpful! Our little piece of Heaven was very private, quiet, out of the way on the hill top with a view of mountains when you step out of front door. Visits from local wildlife (deer and rabbits) was hoping for a bear or moose but oh well. LOL! Wildflowers were in full bloom and everywhere! Our week visit for these two south GA girls was fabulous and would love to come and stay again!

Star Meadows retreat
We had a great time! The jacuzzi was wonderful after (or before) our daily hikes and adventures. The log cabin house is beautifully decorated with lots of amenities. There were a couple of things that were disappointing, though. There weren’t enough towels or glasses/coffee cups for our 12 person stay in the house. The cabin up above, which we also rented, was very musty even after leaving the windows open all day, and the couch is filthy. Other than these failings, we really enjoyed our stay! Thanks!!
