1300 sq ft home 3 bed/2 bath with mountain charm and views. Central heat and A/C

Remodeled home with all new stainless steel appliances and new hickory cabinets with tasteful tile countertops and back splash. Tile throughout living areas and new wood laminate in bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is large with a king bed and sitting area with a TV and located next to hall bathroom. Master bedroom suite is large with a king bed with TV and full bathroom. The sun room that opens out to deck on the back side of the house has a queen Murphy wall bed that would be great for having morning coffee and watching the wildlife. The kitchen, dining area and living room have an open concept with knotty pine tongue and grove cathedral ceilings and a wood burning fireplace with river rock facing and cedar plank mantle. Cable tv, wifi internet, and stereo system are included in amenities. All new dishes, pots and pans, blender, mixer, crock pot, baking pans and all utensil needed to make your stay convenient. A new queen sleeper sofa is located in the living room for additional guests to complete your family/friend getaway. The home has a large sky light in living area that adds to the clean mountain air presence. The bathrooms were totally remodeled in April 2015. With new fixtures in both and tall toilets added. The master has a walk-in shower with beautiful tile surround and the guest bathroom has a new tub/shower with tile surround. The large deck raps around the back and west side of the house. The back part of the deck is covered and the west side is open and contains many flower pots in the summer along with deck furniture. A new propane stainless grill is available for your use. The home has central heat and A/C as well as the fireplace and always stays at a comfortable temperature winter or summer. The home is easily accessible in weather conditions and has a near level entry (1 step) into the home. A circular driveway makes it easy come easy go and plenty of parking. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood but only a very short distance from all attractions that Ruidoso has to offer. The home is tastefully decorated with new linens, pictures and great mountain charm that any family would enjoy. Deer use this property as a crossway to get to the next street so fawns are seen in abundance as well as large bucks. It is fascinating to sit on the deck and watch them.

About NETTA COLEMAN

My husband and I have lived in Ruidoso area since 2002 and have loved the area ever since. We started in the long term rental home business in 2006 and have enjoyed great tenants over the years. Ron is a commercial electrician and travels most of the week and I work at Mescalero Indian Hospital as a laboratory technologist but we have always had a love for fixing up homes so that is how we got into the rental business. This past summer we put our personal home in the short term rental pool #585546 and have had a very enjoyable experience with it and we get to meet some exceptionally great people in the process so we thought we would give it a whirl with this one.

I love a clean home with nice things and I feel compelled to make sure that guests walk into a super clean home and have all the things they need to make their trip to Ruidoso as enjoyable and memorable as I can. This home is very comfortable and charming and yet just minutes from all attractions. Most of the neighboring homes are 2nd homes so it is usually a very quiet street and you get to experience a piece of mountain heaven without neighbors. We also have another vacation rental home that we own and manage so if you are wondering about reviews, please check out property #585546 to see how well we rate with our guests. We just listed this property on October 12, 2014 but you will receive the same treatment as our other guests do in property#585546 so rest assured you are not renting a dump!

What makes this cabin unique

Ron and I have bought several homes to remodel and rent/sell. We decided to keep this one in our real estate portfolio since it is such a comfortable, neat home with all you could want in a home and perhaps in our later years we will retire into this home. The deck is great for rainy days or for sunny days since it is partially covered. We love the fact that you don't need to climb endless stairs to get into the home. The area has a mountain look and feel to it which takes me back to my younger years at my grandparents place in the Utah mountains. The deck is large so there is plenty of room for larger groups to sprawl out and not feel crowded and that coupled with the open floor plan of the home makes it perfect for family/friend visiting to take place. We built a queen murphy bed for the sun room that will allow 2 more guests to stay. Ron and I love the fact that you can feel so isolated in the mountains in this home but yet be just minutes to all that the town has to offer. The Log Cabin Restaurant is a really sought out place for breakfast and can have huge waiting lines and this home can have you there in about 2 minutes max.

Notes:
This is a super cute cabin that has been remodeled and updated with wood tongue and groove ceiling and river rock fireplace. It is in a quiet part of town but is yet so close to everything as it is centrally located in Ruidoso area. There are not many full time residents around the property so you get to have lots of privacy for your getaway from it all.

Clean, well appointed, quiet, exactly as described

This was the perfect setting for our week long getaway. Close to town, national forest hiking, shopping etc. Nice quiet neighborhood. The deck was equipped with every type of seating. I mention this cause we spent so much time on it. The home was extremely clean and stocked with the essentials such as soap, paper towels, garbage bags etc. The basket of chocolates was a nightly treat as we watched the hummingbirds feast and the deer stroll by. We would definitely re-rent this home.

The inside was very nice.

The cabin is aesthetically pleasing and everything was clean except the ash pail. We also liked the large porch outside.. Didn't like the way the bedrooms were positioned, all on the same side of house with one of the bathrooms in between the two bedrooms. As far as the view and wildlife were concerned, we weren't impressed.

Owner's Response: Debra sorry we didn't hit all your marks. We check and double check to make sure that this cabin is updated and super clean. I guess the covered ash pail got missed. The bathroom is located off the hallway that separates the bedrooms and the master has its own bathroom ensuite. As for the WILDlife, guess they didn't feel like entertaining guests during your stay. We appreciate you and thank you but I think I am going to have to go with the majority on reviews on this one. I really try to use constructive criticism to improve on our properties but I find this one totally unfounded. Best regards, Netta

Farley's, Grace O'Malley's Irish Pub, several golf courses, convention center, Spencer Theater, Inn of the Mountain Gods Casino, Ruidoso Downs Racetrack/Casino are all located within close proximity to the property. All of the mentioned are worth a trip to see and do. Renowned shopping in Midtown is also easy to get to. Children love visiting Fun Trackers which has go-carts, bumper boats and cars, miniature golf, a maze among other things to offer. Three casinos are located nearby. Spencer Theater has a full season of live entertainment available for your enjoyment. Ski Apache has plenty of snow events and activities. The area has beautiful hiking trails and area lakes to enjoy. There are numerous art galleries/studios in the village and surrounding areas that are very impressive to visit.
