Beautiful Biltmore Estate 22 minutes away. Comfortable 4 bedrooms house sleeps 8. Two bedrooms have queen beds, one bedroom has a full bed and the bedroom in the finish basement has two single beds. There are 3 full bathrooms. Both second floor bedrooms and bathroom were remodeled in 2020 with fresh paint, and beautiful new pine doors and trim. Central Heat and AC were also added in 2020 for the main and second floor. The RidgeView retreat was close for all of 2022 for a Timber Frame addition and an extensive renovation. Thanksgiving in the Mountains
We enjoyed our stay at Roger's mountain home! The home was convenient to Asheville and the surrounding areas, comfortable and perfect for our family Thanksgiving vacation. Roger was a great host providing information about the home and answering any questions we had promptly. Would highly recommend this beautiful property in the mountains of North Carolina! Thank you again Roger for sharing it with us!

Fairview Bliss
All round 5 stars! This home is in a fantastic location, private and just far away enough from the hustle and bustle of Asheville, while still 15 minutes from everything you would need. Would book again and recommend to anyone!

About the host

Host profile image
I'm a retired residential builder and live in Charleston SC and am happy to divide my time between coastal living and the mountains. I starting coming to Western North Carolina Carolina 25 years ago for motorcycling, contra dancing and exploring. About 15 years ago I started looking at property and it took about 8 years to decide what I wanted in a mountain house and to find the right house. Each Winter, during the off season, I pick an area to remodel and update. In another few years, I'll have just the way I want.

Why they chose this property

Great maintained paved roads, a well run private community and a great view.

What makes this property unique

Quite mountainside property with nature all around, yet only 20 minutes away from all that Asheville has to offer. Bring your electric vehicle as we now have a 220 volt charging station available to our guests
