Porto Cervo: Villino Il Faro - a four rooms villa with private garden, veranda and wonderful sea view

The villa's nickname comes from the Capo Ferro lighthouse (reachable going down Via di Capo Ferro), whose light you can see by night from villino's terrace. The villa is part of a complex placed on the little hill above Cala Granu beach, which is only 300 metres far and whose wonderful view you can see from villino's terrace and windows. Many other beaches (Capriccioli, Romazzino, Cala di Volpe - Liscia Ruja) can be easily reached in a few minutes by car.
You can visit our website where you can view full photos of the Villa, the beaches nearby and have some information on how to reach it from Olbia Harbour and Airport.
The Villino is an independent small villa (out of a villas complex) 300mt from Cala Granu beach (the nearest beach, the same beach you can see from the house), with wonderful sea view from all rooms. It is composed of a huge and independent (with its own door) living-room with a double sofa-bed and a single bed, three double bedrooms, independent kitchen, three bathrooms (with shower and bathtub). Garden planted with trees (300 mq), roofing terrace (15mq, with roof), veranda (30mq)
Wi-fi, flat Tv HD 46, 40 e 26 inches, sat tv decoders, 4 air conditioning machines (hot and cold), one for each room, two water heaters, electric ventilated oven, dishwasher and washing machine, iron, barbecue.
Car entrance with electric (automatic) gate and huge private parking.

what a beautiful place !
We (family with two children from Switzerland) enjoyed our stay very much: You can walk to the beach in to 15-20 minutes. With the car you can reach many other very beautiful beaches in 10-20 minutes. The house has wonderful seeview, it is quiet and spacious and has everything you need for daily life. Maria (the houseceaper) and Chiara (the landlord) are very helpful and friendly. At this time of the year beaches are quiet and you can enjoy this beautiful nature. On the other side: most of the shops in Porto Cervo are closed, so you have to drive 20 minutes to get food for cooking.

Comfortable villa with glorious views
The villa was in a lovely setting and very comfortable. It was spotless and had enough furniture for the 5 of us.The view of the bay was spectacular. There was a reserved parking space and gated entry to the complex. It is on the top floor above another apartment and there is some noise from neighbours close by. The kitchen is well equipped and user friendly. The main bathroom has a lovely shower but the en suite only has a hand held spray. One bedroom is in a separate out building which suited our son and his girlfriend. There are 3 areas to eat, inside, on the veranda or on the patio which was very nice. The garden is very pretty and there are flowers everywhere. We enjoyed sitting on the loungers in the garden. We tried to walk to the beach from the apartment but this is along a winding, steep road with no pavement and it did not feel safe with cars careering around the corners. We therefore took the car to a local hotel and parked with just a short walk along a path to the beach. There is a lovely beach cafe and the beach is beautiful, although if you plan to hire loungers and an umbrella, take plenty of money! The walk to the nearest restaurants is also along this winding road and we ended up getting a taxi home because it was not safe to walk back in the dark. It is a drive to get into Porto Cervo. All in all, a comfortable well equipped villa. Thank you Chiara

meravigliosa sistemazione
Una location fantastica; posizione invidiabile, dotata di ogni comfort, ben curata, con la massima attenzione per gli ospiti. La veranda ha un panorama mozzafiato, che invita a rimanere seduti nell'ammirarlo per ore senza mai stancarsi. La vacanza è stata meravigliosa, è una sistemazione da consigliare in maniera assoluta; la stessa spiaggia di Cala Granu è una delle migliori sella Costa Smeralda, non essendo soffocata come le altre da un turismo asfissiante. Un grazie particolare anche alle gentili locatrici, mai prive di ottimi consigli per rendere la permanenza estremamente piacevole.
