Cute Little Trip
Stayed here for a little over a week with my fiance for our 1 year anniversary and it was lovely. The cabin is a bit older (which we thought gave it a nice charm) but has everything you could need (cookware, towels, blankets, etc.) and was incredibly cozy, the perfect size for a couple or small family. Our only SLIGHT complaint was that the water pressure was a little low, but honestly it wasn't that big of a deal to us. Would 100% stay here again.

So so
I knew booking this property that it wasn't the fanciest and needed several cosmetic upgrades and I was okay with that. But unfortunately we walked into an uncleaned cabin. They did promptly respond to my message and refund us some money back. Just wasn't ideal walking into this at 7pm and having to stay up until close to midnight washing all the bedding and towels to be able to go to bed that night. On a positive note, the kids loved the pool table and packman game! FYI neighbors are way closer than what pictures portray

Mini getaway
The cabin is in a great location. The game room is downstairs in a converted single car garage - it’s super cold. The kiddos did not spend much time playing pool and Foosball because it was chilly.

About the host

Host profile image
Hello, my name is Matt Hesson. Our family purchased the cabin in 2014 after debating for ages if we wanted one or not. We were so excited to have a place we could spend time together. We make it up to the house as much as we can. Living just outside of Nashville, as you can imagine we hear the mountains calling all the time.

Why they chose this property

We chose this one because of it's ideal location to Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, Gatlinburg, and the Great Smoky Mountains.

What makes this property unique

Tucked away in a little slice of the mountains. It has quite wooded views and lots of room to unwind from the normal busy lives that everyone lives. A great place to just soak in the atmosphere and just let the worries melt away.
