Careful design and details make this renovated ground-floor condo a lovely retreat. A wood-paneled entryway greets guests and invites them to use the wall hooks. Continue on to the great room where a river rock fireplace topped by a wood mantel and a decorative metal plate anchors the living and dining areas. A pullout leather sofa, a pair of matching armchairs and an elegant wood coffee table face the fireplace and a large flat screen TV with a DVD player. Glass doors lead to a deck with chairs and a gas grill. A pine dining table seats six comfortably beneath a metal maritime-style chandelier.

The adjoining renovated kitchen offers an array of gourmet amenities including dark granite countertops and pine cabinets accented by decorative pulls. A hallway leads to a linen closet also storing board games, and a second closet with a washer/dryer tucked inside.

The first bedroom features a queen bed atop a pine frame. Two nightstands and chest of drawers match the bedframe. A closet provides storage. A tooled leather mirror decorates the wall. The ensuite bathroom channels the kitchen’s palette with its dark granite counter and decorative tile surrounding the vanity and shower/tub. Ochre paint colors the walls.

The second bedroom echoes the first with the same pine bed. Storage options abound between the built-in shelves and closet. The room also offers a TV and ample windows. The ensuite bath, similarly designed, offers decorative tile, granite counter and a shower/tub.

The Nez Perce complex lies within walking distance of the lifts, boutiques, bars and restaurants that make the Village a bustling place year-round. From authentic Thai food to hipster woolens and high-tech gear, the Village carries everything you crave on vacation.

Nice, older but small condo with several issues that is not really worth the price being charged.

  • 3 of 5

Older condo, built many years ago, somewhat updated by the Owners. Very clean/maintained. The rental management company service was excellent. Location is good, short shuttle bus, about 10 minute, ride to the Teton Village shops/restaurants/ski lifts. Just a short walk up the hill, approx. 50 yds., is a short chair lift that provides access to the mountain if you prefer not to take the shuttle. At the end of the day you can ski out directly to the condo. Kitchen is small but has the essentials for a multi-day stay. Living room is small, but furnished with a comfortable leather sofa (comfortable for 2-adults or 2-adults and 1-small child) and two comfortable armchairs. Cable TV is provided with a limited selection of channels. Dining room is small, with a nice wood table/chairs for six people. There are two separate bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms/showers. The beds/mattresses/bed linens are very nice and comfortable. The issues are: 1) Older condo with a hallway outside the condo that runs the length of the condo. Very poor noise proofing and noise in the hallway is as loud as if it were being made in the condo. This condo is on the first floor with condos above it. Again very poor noise proofing, and noise in the upstairs condo is extremely loud. We were frequently woken up very early in the morning by noise from the condo above; 2) this condo was advertised as having internet/Wi-Fi access. When we first arrived we could not access the Internet. After struggling with connectivity, after complaining twice to the rental management company, the old, cheap, low-tech router was replaced with a brand new, but identical router. This solved the connectivity issue, but because the router was so low-tech/old version the range was limited to 10-15 feet. We had Internet access in the living/dining rooms but none in either bedroom; 3) this condo building is built in the side of a hill and is a ground floor unit, so this unit is partially below ground. All of the windows in this unit face the parking lot. The condo was originally built with no ceiling lights except in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms. The owners have added track lighting in the hallway, and there are table lamps in the living room/bedrooms, except they are old/not very good quality (remind me of lamps you might buy at a garage sale). The result is that the condo is very dark, even in daytime, even if you open all the blinds. In my view, not worth the price being charged.
