Beautiful property. Within Walking distance to local grocery, bakery, restaurants, fresh seafood and more! Lending library and an Osprey family- awesome vacation!
Of all of our trips to PEI, which have been many (my husband was born and raised until age 16)
We had such a good stay at Harbor house thanks to Kelvin and Kyler. They we so very accommodating and made sure that our stay was comfortable. We will be going back in June for a couple of weeks and couldn't feel more excited. They worked very hard on Sunday to make sure we were able to watch the patriots game (I'm so glad they won!!!) So you ask "why did I only give them 4 stars?" Well, they may want to make sure that all the light bulbs work and maybe better explanation for how the heat pump controls work (would be to their benefit). Other than that, if we give them to high of a score it will be booked all the time and we want it all to ourselves!!!!!
Clean, modern home, great location
This 3-level house is in a beautiful location, right on the water. It has an amazing view and is walkable to everything in the little town. Everything is very clean and there is a good instruction / intro book that outlines all house facilities. The neighborhood cat is adorable and friendly. The passes to the Anne of Green Gables and National Park places were a very nice touch :)
The few things to keep in mind: there are not many hooks and/or places to hang towels, clothes; would have been nice to have more dishes, cups, etc. (we were 5 adults and had to run the dishwasher often); the owner came in without warning one day while we were away and switched some furniture; it would be nice to have extra blankets for colder nights; and remember to bring an eye mask for early sun rising in the Summer.
Overall, highly recommended place to stay during your visit to PIE!
Harbor House is charming!
We were lucky to stay during a full moon. The sunrises, sunsets, and the rising moon were ethereal. North Rustico is a beautiful, quaint, fishing harbor. The salt air, boats, and genuine charm can restore any soul. I did not want to leave.
The house was clean, the decks and patio were spectacular. My son loved the downstairs and referred to it as his "man cave."
We did not know the season was wrapping up and most places would soon be closing. We were lucky to eat at the "Blue Mussel, The Mill, and Prince Edward Island Preserve Company." We highly reccomend all of them!
The boardwalk in North Rustico was a daily visit and North Rustico's beach was beautiful.

Location and charm!
Salt of the Harbor home had everything we needed for our stay. The village is quaint. We sat with morning coffee and evening cocktails on the front porch watching the waterfront. Walked the boardwalk which is beautiful and visited Cavendish just a few miles away - a MUST see!! The home owner, Kelvin, is helpful and stopped by to be sure everything was okay which we appreciated. A side note that the home is three levels, main floor kitchen/dining/living with 2 bedrooms and bath upstairs and 1 bedroom and bath downstairs (along with a family room and laundry). All of it was really nice and worked great for us! Great place!!
close to everything we wanted, modern roomy house with excellent view of harbor
there were 5 adults and we had plenty of room. would like to stay again at a different time of year. we were there the second week of Sep.. weather was great. The property had all basic amenities needed. Even had a cat that dropped by for leftovers in early evening . the owner was available for whatever we needed and was not far away if you needed him, very nice guy. Thanks again, Mike and Sue Sullivan and friends
