Cute and quiet!
I needed just a few days to myself, and this was the perfect place! It's cute and very quiet! It has everything that I needed. The owner quickly responded to my texts. I love that it's so close to the beach, St Armands, and other shops and restaurants!
It's a home away from home and will be our place to stay when returning to Sarasota!!!
Tracey is a very friendly and gracious host. The home has almost everything needed. Lots of towels, toiletries, beach towels, etc. The kitchen does not have a stove, but there is a toaster oven, a 2 burner hot plate and a microwave. There was fresh creamer in the refrigerator, coffee for the coffee maker, tea, artificial sweetener. The only thing we had to buy was food and that was no problem as the house is central to everything. We were very happy and pleasantly surprised as our dog immediately felt right at home; all of our previous trips, his anxiety level often kept us from relaxing and enjoying the stay.
Nice apt. And we had full use of the fenced backyard
Large bedroom and bathroom. Fireplace in the living room offers a nice touch though it was May and we didn't use it. The dogs loved the backyard.
Paying for the Location. Needs some updates
First of all Tracy was very nice and willing to be helpful if we needed her. It really can use some new things such as: replace the Flat bedroom pillows, the living room furniture is worn out, shower needs re-grouted because the old darkened grout looks moldy. The entry gate gets caught behind the latch, making it very hard to open. Kitchen was missing a few items like a corkscrew. Tracy said we should have told her but really, a go through before we rented it would have taken care of it . All and all it was an OK place to stay but I'd say it was worth $80 a night and not $107 that we paid. Maybe it's the downtown location?
Great vacation home
Had a wonderful stay while in Sarasota! House was clean, owners were very attentive and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and will be going back!
Cute and cozy with a good location!
Very positive experience. Cozy and cute little place. Everything was there that we needed from little things like salt and pepper to towels. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful. The fenced in backyard was very nice along with the little area with the hot tub.Close to the beach as well!!!
Arlington Park is best known for its convenient location with an eclectic mix of mid century to newly constructed houses, paved streets and plenty of beautiful old trees. The park, itself has a playground and gymnasium, locker rooms, basketball, racquetball and tennis courts, and swimming pools, the park offers a wide variety of classes and activities. The five access points encourage pedestrians from the neighborhood to take advantage of the half-mile walking loop.
There are people of all ages and all physical conditions walking, running, talking and socializing. It's a great neighborhood to walk in.
There are shopping areas and restaurants along Tamiami Trail and Hillview Street and Southside village. Westfield Southgate mall is just down the road. Sarasota Memorial Hospital is literally across U.S. 41. Downtown Sarasota and the Siesta and Lido Key beaches are within easy driving distance. Benderson park and the UTC mall are a 15 minute drive away.
