About Olivia Andrews

My name is Olivia Andrews. I grew up in Charleston, South Carolina and moved to Mexico City 8 years ago. I live in the Historic Center of the city with my family, very close to our rentals so we can always be available to our guests if needed.

Olivia Andrews purchased this apartment in 2011

Why Olivia Andrews chose Centro Histórico

I have lived in the historic center for over 8 years. When I found this property I had never seen an opportunity like this before, and I was really searching! To own part of an 18th Century building recently restored in a great part of town was a once in a lifetime opportunity. I took the opportunity as soon as I could and bought 4 apartments in the same building! I hope my clients will enjoy Mexico City as much as I do and there is no better way to see the city but in the center of it all!

Authentically Mexican

  • 4 of 5

Great place. Ideal location. Nice apartment in the center of the city. Great transportation (metro) providing access to major attraction areas. We were able to utilize the bus service to the airport with a stop across the street. If you are looking for adventures, memorable experiences and genuine desire to embrace the Mexican culture, this apartment will meet your needs. Thank you Olivia

Quiet apt.

  • 3 of 5

The owners of this apartment had us over for drinks at their home which made our visit special. We stayed on the upper floor so there are lots of steps! I personally think the apartment needs some sprucing up. The floors are cement and the place is very sparse. Little things like kitchen hot pads and towels would be helpful.

There are 3 locked doors involved in getting to your place which make for a secure place but can also be a hassle.

A great location to explore the center of Mexico City on foot

  • 5 of 5

My friend and I were excited to come to your lovely and inspiring city. Olivia answered all our requests quickly, and made sure we had a driver when we wanted to enjoy a full day of "Frida"

which takes you outside the city center. We were treated very kindly and respectfully. Any call for advice or questions about the apartment were met with an immediate response, and her friend, Juan Carlos, walked us to El Cardenal for breakfast. Don't miss this restaurant for a great breakfast before the museums! We will be back. There was just too much to do.

The apartment is located close to both of the main plazas, plus shopping, plus the artisan marketplace. All this can be done on foot. Plus, don't miss the gourmet market of San Juan, also in the area. There is something for everyone!

A real gem!

  • 4 of 5

Our family had a fantastic stay at Olivia's place in the heart of Mexico City & would go back in a heartbeat! The building is wonderful - steeped in character, with a charming courtyard, huge terrace & lovely neighbours - a quiet oasis in the middle of Mexico City's bustling downtown. Most of our days were spent walking because the location is ideal - and when we wanted it, the subway was also close by. We became regulars at the local grocers because we like to cook - and while the kitchen is very small, it was pretty & had most of what we needed. Olivia and her husband, Viktor, are charming & made sure that all our needs were well taken care of - including a driver from the airport. If there was a bigger kitchen, we might have decided to never go home!

Wonderful location in quiet, charming building

  • 5 of 5

This was our first trip to Mexico City and we were really pleased we chose to stay in the historic center, and in Olivia and Victor's apartment/rental. There was a mishap with overbooking and we didn't stay in the rental I had booked the entire time, but Olivia and Victor put a lot of effort in making sure we were comfortable in the alternate apartment. Their level of hospitality reflected tremendous care.

The rentals were well maintained and the building itself was wonderful. Old and charming and very peaceful. Centro Historico is a bustling place but the street the building is on is relatively quiet. Once you enter the building you feel a shift -- it's a true respite from the city. The apartments had wi-fi and the kitchens had everything you would need. Drinking water was supplied.

There is so much to do within walking distance. Museums, the Zocalo, parks, shopping, wonderful restaurants... Olivia supplies a helpful list of favorite nearby restaurants and things to do, plus other useful tips. Between the apartment, our helpful hosts and tours we scheduled we had a fantastic time in this amazing city.
