Photos and Description of the Dubois vacation cabin rental

Cabin, 3 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6-11)

Heavenly rendezvous for family, friends, and associates. Cozy, large (~1900 sq ft), all-wood cabin has open floor plan with three private bedrooms, futon, and spacious enclosed gear/mud room. Wood-stove and electric heat. On 60 mostly wooded acres, bordered by vacant parcels and Shoshone National Forest. End of road, partly fenced, no close neighbors. Wildflowers riot spring to summer. A dozen road miles from artsy, historic Dubois, a mile from government-maintained road, 3 miles from Western-style restaurants.

Cabin nestles in the SW corner of a large, gently sloped meadow. Cabin meets forest on two sides. Elevation 8500 ft (2600m). The meadow opens onto panoramic views of Dunoir Valley, Ramshorn, Absarokas, and Painted Hills. Abundant and diverse wildlife, including large and small, furry or feathered. Sap-scented summer breeze keeps site cool/warm comfy night/day, and practically bug-free. Trails for hiking, horses, ATV, or to amble around the woods. Nearby streams and lakes for fishing; camping, outdoor sightseeing of all kinds.

Take a day drive to Yellowstone or Grand Teton National Parks (50 miles to Moran Junction), or to Jackson's swank shops and eateries. Or forget all that and hit the hammock! Fall hunting access, with world-class trails and National Forest roads to cruise. Amble, trek, explore, synch with nature, and warm your toes by the woodstove.

Cabin was built by a multi-millionaire who owned the mountainside and picked the best spot! Let this memory-maker start your love affair with one of America's premier vacation venues in Wyoming's Wind River Mountains. Owner offers friendly service and rates to help you feel good about returning year after year.
